CANELO was NOT happy 👿🤬😡 #shorts

Canelo Alvarez and Christian Mbilli have reportedly signed a deal to face each other in September. It marks Alvarez's first outing since dropping his undisputed super middleweight titles to Terence Crawford last September. He now has to chance pick up one of his old belts against Mbilli, who was elevated from interim to full WBC champion earlier this year after Crawford was stripped of the green and gold strap. According to Ring Magazine, the pair will headline a 'Mexico vs the World' event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. While the report did not explicitly mention a date, it is understood that the bout is being lined up for September 12, to commemorate Mexican Independence Day weekend. Alvarez skipped his usual Cinco De Mayo date in May to undergo surgery on his left elbow. After completing his rehabilitation, he is now ready to lock horns with Mbilli, whose last fight fell on the Alvarez vs Crawford undercard. Mbilli (29-0-1, 24 KOs) was held to a split draw by Lester Martinez at Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium in an enthralling defence of his interim belt. He captured the secondary title by blowing away Poland's Maciej Sulecki in one round last June. Alvarez’s loss to Crawford via unanimous decision in Las Vegas, Nevada was just the third of his storied combat career — the other two came against Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Dmitry Bivol — and snapped his six-fight win streak. Alvarez was hoping to secure a rematch against Crawford but “Bud” ultimately decided to retire as an undefeated (42-0), four-division champion. Now, Canelo has the chance to once again become champion with a win over Mbilli. Speaking of which, the Cameroonian-French Canadian champion is currently undefeated at 29-0-1 and was elevated from interim title holder to WBC world super middleweight champion after the strap was stripped from the aforementioned Terence Crawford. Mbilli was ordered to fight against Hamzah Sheeraz — who also had his eye on a fight against Alvarez — though it ultimately fell through. With 24 knockouts to his name, Mbilli has the chance to secure the biggest win of his pro career, which could set him up for bigger fights moving forward. At 35 years of age, however, Canelo is still fairly young and is determined to prove his naysayers that he has plenty to offer the fight game. Saúl "Canelo" Álvarez, also known as "Canelo" or "Canelo Alvarez" is a Mexican professional boxer. He has held multiple world championships in four weight classes, from light middleweight to light heavyweight, including unified titles in three of those weight classes. In 2021, Álvarez became the first boxer in history to become the undisputed[a] super middleweight champion, before becoming a two-time undisputed super middleweight champion in 2025. He also held the Ring magazine super middleweight title from 2020 to 2025. Christian M'billi is a Cameroonian-French Canadian professional boxer who has held the World Boxing Council (WBC) super-middleweight title since January 2026. David Benavidez is an American professional boxer who has held world championships in two weight classes. He has held the World Boxing Association (WBA) light heavyweight title (Regular version) since February 2025 and the World Boxing Council (WBC) light heavyweight title since April 2025. Previously, he held the WBC super middleweight title twice between 2017 and 2020. Claiming his first world title at 20 years, eight months, three weeks and one day old, Benavidez holds the record as the youngest super middleweight world champion in history. Stick to United with Wayne Rooney is back for episode six! 👹 Mark Goldbridge joins Manchester United and England legend Wayne Rooney to react to another difficult week for United, brought to you by Disney+. Following the draw at Fulham, Wayne describes it as United’s worst performance of the season, while the pair discuss the growing pressure on Michael Carrick and whether he can turn things around. Wayne questions the lack of running, fight and intensity in the team, responding strongly to Matheus Cunha’s comments about players not running and insisting his United sides would never have been bottom of the running stats. Mark also questions how long Carrick can survive, while Wayne admits that if anyone ultimately pays for United’s problems, it will be the manager. The conversation also turns to United’s recruitment, with questions over Andrey Santos and Carlos Baleba, before Wayne explains what Carrick can work on during the international break. The pair also discuss the club’s ownership, why Sir Jim Ratcliffe, Omar Berrada and Jason Wilcox should face supporters, and the characters United need inside the dressing room.
