In the final game of Round 1 of the 2026 T.Rowe Price ACC Men's Basketball Tournament, the 13-seeded Demon Deacons took down the 12-seeded Hokies, 95-89 in overtime. Seven of the eight Wake Forest players who played in the game scored at least 10 points. Wake Forest shot 50.8% from the field while holding Virginia Tech to 41.8% shooting. Myles Colvin led Wake Forest with 18 points and six rebounds. Sebastian Akins scored 14 points, including an important and-1 with 57 seconds left in overtime.
