Euroleague Final Four: Olympiacos-Anadolu Efes 74-77 - MICIC TRIPLA CLAMOROSA ALL’ULTIMO SECONDO!!
1° quarto - Fall vince la palla a due e segna il primo canestro. Larkin risponde con una tripla, e la gara è già entrata nel vivo. Cinque punti di Walkup lanciano l'Olympiacos, poi Fall comanda in area su Tibor Pleiss e il 9-5 fa saltare i tifosi dei Reds con 6'12". I greci pressano e l'Efes soffre e il 12-5 di Papanikolaou fa chiamare il timeout di Ataman. Entra Dunston, mette due liberi ma in difesa si piega anche lui a Fall, ma si fa perdonare con una tripla 14-10 al 7'. Arriva anche la tripla velenosa di Larkin, che supera il muro dei 2500 punti in carriera, per il -1. Anche se i Reds non concedono la transizione, Bryant mette la terza tripla consecutiva dei turchi, poi si sblocca Micic e il break è 0-11. Sloukas lo chiude con due liberi a 44" e la tripla di Papanikolau rimette avanti i greci. Ultima palla all'Efes, ma il fallo di Dunston a rimbalzo regala due liberi a Papanikolaou 21-18. 2° quarto - Larkin 2/2 e Martin 1/2 aprono le marcature del secondo quarto. Le due squadre si rincorrono a suon di canestri, poi con 7'35" Martin stacca i Reds 29-24 ma l'uno-due Larkin/Pleiss pareggia a quota 29 al 14'. Ma McKissic e Printezis in un attimo rispolverano il +4 greco. Larkin da tre, ma Martin segna due canestri consecutivi, Micic non incide, McKissic con 3'53" il +7 Reds arriva in lunetta 2/2. Sentendosi chiamato in causa Micic piazza la bomba numero uno e con 1'35" la numero due e sorpassa 41-42. McKissic riesce a lasciare all'Olympiacos il vnataggio all'intervallo 43-42. 3° quarto - Tripla di Bryant e pareggio di Dorsey al 21'. L'Anadolu difende forte e piazza lo 0-6 su cui Bartzokas chiama timeout con 6'50". Papanikolaou piazza la tripla, ma Bryant ne realizza due in fila 48-57 con 5'50". Dunston schiaccia il +11 cui seguono le triple di Dorsey e Micic. Dorsey a fatica da due e la stoppatat di Papanikolaou su Micic rianimano i Reds, insieme alla tripla di Vezenkov 56-62 con 2'20". Dunston va in doppia cifra, ma poi commette il quarto fallo personale. Sloukas 2/2 ringrazia. Dorsey da palla rubata guadagna 0/2 in lunetta, così Pleiss rimette il +8. vezenkov e la bomba di Dorsey fissano il 30' con il 63-66. 4° quarto - Singleton schiaccia con 8'50", mantiene a lungo i tre punti di vantaggio. Con 6'57" Singleton rischia di farsi chiamare un antisportivo, che comunque è il quarto fallo personale. McKissic in penetrazione fa -1 e un paio di azioni affrettate consigliano un timeout alle due squadre 69-70 con 6'21". Dunston mette un libero ma al 35' gli viene chiamato il quinto fallo. Dorsey mette un solo libero, e non pareggia. Il pallone comincia a pesare, ma Pleiss fa 2/2 ai liberi. Anche le idee sono abbastanza confuse, e c'è stanchezza. Con 2'37" 70-73 Sloukas manda in lunetta Micic, ma prima c'è il timeout di Bartzokas. 0/2 di Micic! e siamo sempre lì nel crunch time. Un fischio dubbio su Sloukas manda Larkin in lunetta, ma fa 1/2 con 1'16". Il play greco guadagna a sua volta la lunetta con il quinto fallo di Singleton e 1'01" sul cronometro. 72-74. Micic si incarta e scarica per Moerman, che da tre non realizza. Martin pareggia con 19'5" e timeout Ataman. Il coach turco chiede uno schema con palla a Micic per attaccare il ferro a sei secondi dalla sirena. Azione perfettamente riuscita e sulla sirena il buzzer beater da tre punti manderebbe in finale l'Anadolu Efes se gli arbitri, riguardando l'azione, non trovassero 2 decimi da giocare. Olympiacos Piraeus destroyed arch-rival Pananthinaikos OPAP Athens to gain a resounding 101-73 victory on Thursday night – the biggest-ever EuroLeague win for the Reds over the Greens. Kostas Sloukas and Sasha Vezenkov led six Olympiacos players in double digits with 16 points apiece, while Moustapha Fall, Kostas Papanikolaou and Hassan Martin all scored 13, and Shaquielle McKissic contributed 10 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Panathinaikos guard Daryl Macon Jr topped all scorers with 23 points.
