HIGHLIGHTS | Watford vs Arsenal (2-3) | Premier League | Saka, Gabi & Odegaard!
HIGHLIGHTS | Watford vs Arsenal (2-3) | Premier League | Saka, Gabi & Odegaard!

We moved into the top four with a hard-fought win at Watford on Sunday in a rollercoaster of a game at Vicarage Road. After the drama of our last Premier League clash some 10 days earlier against Wolves, Mikel Arteta would have been after a more serene affair this time around. But his heart would have been in his mouth when, 19 seconds into the match, Emmanuel Dennis raced behind our defence and beat Aaron Ramsdale to seemingly open the scoring. The assistant referee’s flag spared us from an early concession though. But a blockbuster opening to the match saw us take the lead minutes later as a slick move up the right saw the superb Martin Odegaard flick the ball to Bukayo Saka. Our England international raced up the right and picked out Odegaard, who took a touch before finding the far corner for his fifth goal of the campaign. But our lead did not last long as the Hornets stung us with a sharp move up the right, with Kiko Femenia crossing for Cucho Hernandez to send a brilliant overhead kick past Ramsdale – and this time it did count. We weren’t at our very best in the first half, but regained the lead when fine work by Saka to steal the ball in front of the Watford box saw his then find Alex Lacazette in the area. The captain did what he does best, holding off Craig Cathcart before playing it back to Saka to curl the ball high into the roof of the net. We couldn’t add to our lead before the interval, but after half time we opened up a two goal advantage in clinical circumstances. Credit to Saka, who took a quick throw to release Cedric up the right and he found Lacazette on the edge of the area, he then laid it off to Gabriel Martinelli and the Brazilian found the top corner with a fine first-time effort. The game still had plenty of life still in it, and the hosts soon had a penalty shout waved away, with Moussa Sissoko and Tom Cleverley in quick succession. Lacazette then had an opportunity to extend our lead after good work from Odegaard but fired wide, while Ben White skewed a volley wide when well placed. Dennis had a big chance to pull one back for Watford in the closing stages but scuffed his shot with the goal gaping. We kept pushing to kill off the game, and Eddie Nketiah – on for a matter of moments – nearly did just that but hit the post after a rapid counter attack. But Roy Hodgson’s side added another twist when Sissoko forced the ball home from a tight angle, setting up a grandstand finish. But despite a tense finale, we held on for the three points in another vital victory in the hunt for a top-four finish. #arsenal #saka #martinelli Enjoy match highlights, training and behind the scenes to get closer to the likes of Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe, Vivianne Miedema, Nicolas Pepe, Alexandre Lacazette, Leah Williamson, Bernd Leno, Nikita Parris, Tobin Heath, Mana Iwabuchi, Jordan Nobbs, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Kim Little, Gabriel Martinelli, Aaron Ramsdale, Beth Mead, Ben White, Thomas Partey and more. HIGHLIGHTS | Arsenal vs Wolves (2-1) | Pepe and Lacazette in the 95th minute!
HIGHLIGHTS | Arsenal vs Wolves (2-1) | Pepe and Lacazette in the 95th minute!

Arsenal completed a dramatic late comeback to earn three points in a frantic encounter with in-form Wolves. Despite raining the shots in throughout the 90 minutes, Hwang Hee-Chan's first-half strike had looked to be decisive for a resolute Wolves side - until our late turnaround. With 10 minutes remaining Substitute Nicolas Pepe spun and finished well inside the box to draw us level. But more drama was to follow. As the game entered injury-time, added on due to Wolves' time-wasting, captain Alexandre Lacazette fired in off the keeper at the near post to send the Emirates crowd into raptures. It felt like a big moment in the race for European qualification. It was a lively start that set the tone for the whole match. Gabriel Martinelli went down in the area inside the first two minutes, but it was a fair challenge, before Romain Saiss had the ball in the net for the visitors, only to be flagged offside. Within a few minutes though Wolves did have one that counted. Gabriel - who scored the only goal of the game two weeks ago at Molineux – was the villain this time. His backpass went straight to Hwang, and the South Korean scored from a tight angle. Raul Jimenez had a great chance to double the lead shortly afterwards after being set up by the influential Daniel Podence, but rolled his shot just wide. The Gunners needed to respond. Alexandre Lacazette fired into the side netting from close range before Martin Odegaard had shot blocked inside the area after superb work from Bukayo Saka. Saka himself had the next attempt, but his shot was well charged down after he beat the offside trap. Lacazette had a shot from long distance easily saved, then pulled one back for Gabriel Martinelli to stab over. It was all Arsenal, but the well organised Wolves defence were standing firm. The first chance of the second half fell to Wolves. Hwang sprinted through, threaded his shot through the legs of Aaron Ramsdale, but mercifully past the upright. Saka had a couple of shots blocked, but the congested Wolves penalty area was proving difficult to breach. Lacazette was the next to try his luck, but rather snatched at his shot on the turn. His next effort was better, but this time Jose Sa parried it away for a corner as we kept up the pressure going into the final 20 minutes. Then finally, with our 23rd shot of the evening, Pepe spun and fired home from Eddie Nketiah's cutback. It was no more than we deserved, and finally we had just under ten minutes to find a winner. Odegaard's shot over and Saka had a low shot saved and that looked to be that. But Lacazette had other ideas, and after firing a powerful effort at Sa, the ball was diverted home for a precious late winner. #arsenal #lacazette #nicolaspepe Enjoy match highlights, training and behind the scenes to get closer to the likes of Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe, Vivianne Miedema, Nicolas Pepe, Alexandre Lacazette, Leah Williamson, Bernd Leno, Nikita Parris, Tobin Heath, Mana Iwabuchi, Jordan Nobbs, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Kim Little, Gabriel Martinelli, Aaron Ramsdale, Beth Mead, Ben White, Thomas Partey and more. Wolves take yet another swipe at (Arsenal): Arsenal News Today. #arsenalnews #wolverhampton #epl #wolvesvsarsenal FOOTBALL TODAY PRESENTS: Wolverhampton Wanderers have taken another shot at Arsenal with a cheeky social media dig amid their victory against Tottenham Hotspur. Bruno Lage’s men continued their excellent recent form with a 2-0 victory in north London on Sunday, Raul Jimenez and Leander Dendoncker securing the three points on an error-strewn afternoon for the hosts. The win sees them move above Spurs and into seventh in the Premier League table, whilst also potentially providing Arsenal a huge boost to their own hopes of finishing in the Champions League places come the end of the campaign. Following victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Wolves’ social media team could not resist taking fire at Arsenal following their protests at the Gunners’ celebrations at Molineux last week. Taking to Twitter, the club’s official account posted a video of their players going over and applauding the away fans with the caption: “Celebrating the right way”. The latest shot comes after the likes of Ruben Neves and Conor Coady took exception to the way that Arsenal celebrated their 1-0 win in the Midlands last week. Following the game, the Portuguese said: "We saw the way they celebrated the win and that shows the level we are. I didn't see Arsenal celebrating like this in the past 10 years - it was like they won the league." Meanwhile, Wolves captain Coady also poured in on the debate and was not a fan of the way in which Arsenal went about their post-match toasts. Speaking with BBC Radio 5 Live, he said: “We’ve seen them [the celebrations], we heard them. We’ve obviously seen the whole thing, I know Ruben has obviously spoken out after it. “They celebrated quite hard, didn’t they? It probably obviously shows how big the game was to them, and to us – it was big to us as well. Listen, we spoke about it all week, we prepared right, we made sure we were ready and I actually thought we played quite well if I’m being honest. “We had the ball, we created different things, but listen Arsenal are a top side. “So we’ve seen the celebrations, I’ll be honest with you, from our point of view, we really didn’t like them.” In today's video I discussed Arsenal, Transfer News, arsenal live news today, arsenal news now today live, arsenal transfer news today live, arsenal transfer news today live done deal, arsenal transfer news today live sky sports, arsenal transfer news today live now, arsenal transfer news live, arsenal transfer news today live new signing, arsenal news now live, arsenal transfer done deals, arsenal transfer news, premier league transfers, arsenal new signings, arsenal confirmed transfers, #afc #arsenal #arsenalnews #shorts #arsenalnewstoday #arsenalnewsfortoday #PremierLeague #arsenalfantv #wolverhampton #AFC #gunner #arsenal #Arsenalfc #arsenalfans #Arsenal #Transfer Arsenal Arsenal FC Arsenal News Arsenal Latest News Arsenal News Today Arsenal Transfer News Arsenal Latest transfer news Latest Arsenal News February 2022 Latest Arsenal News February Transfer News Transfer Window Daily arsenal news Transfer window Transfer Rumours January transfer Football news Soccer News Sport News Emirates stadium Gunners News Bernd Leno Aaron Ramsdale Takehiro Tomiyasu Ben White Kieran Tierney Granit Xhaka Thomas Partey Bukayo Saka Emile Smith Rowe Alexandre Lacazette Nicolas Pepe Aubameyang Mikel Arteta Youri Tielemans Gabriel Martinelli Mohamed Elneny Alexandre Lacazette Bukayo Saka Cedric Soares Rob Holding Premier League Football Soccer Sport England Thank you for watching and please SUBSCRIBE.
