Real Madrid 0-0 Osasuna Player Raitings | Benzema, Vini Jr, Hazard, Alaba, Militão | La Liga 21\22

Real Madrid made enough chances to take the three points fell short of the win at the Santiago Bernabéu. Real Madrid played out a goalless draw at the Santiago Bernabéu, failing to find the target despite having the lion's share of possession and chances against Osasuna. The first dangerous moment of the night came on 22 minutes, when Asensio drove forward on a swift counter-attack before feeding Camavinga, but his right-footed effort ended up in the side-netting. Two minutes later, controversy reigned as Torró stamped on Vinicius Jr.'s foot inside the Navarran penalty area, but the referee opted not to point to the spot. With half-an-hour on the clock, Militão tried his luck from range, but his fierce drive was punched clear by Herrera. One minute later, Vinicius Jr. picked up the ball off-balance and his sweetly-struck shot whipped just the wrong side of the post. After the re-start, Ancelotti brought on Rodrygo for Camavinga. In the 50th minute, Osasuna had their best chance of the game from a counter-attack which saw the ball squared to Moncayola, but his side-footed effort came back off the post with Courtois beaten. The game was now being played at a frantic pace as Real Madrid launched attack after attack. On 61’, a fine cut-back by Benzema inside the area took him away from two defenders but his left-footed shot struck the crossbar. The Whites now had Osasuna pinned back in their penalty area and although the visitors struggled to get out of their own half, they remained solid at the back. Casemiro almost caught out Herrera on 81’ when his shot from inside his own half swerved narrowly over the bar. Marcelo also went close when the left-back linked up well with Vinicius Jr. seven minutes later, but he failed to beat the keeper in a one-on-one. There were only time four minutes of stoppage time added on and Real Madrid kept attacking but the deserved goal just wouldn’t come. 🔔 Turn Notifications on to not miss any future uploads 📺 Subscribe for more Real Madrid videos ► Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/OnlyMadrid5 ► Follow us on Instagram: https://instagram.com/onlymadrid1?utm_medium=copy_link Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. LocosTV | Match Highlights | ILWFC 1 v ROTHES F.C. 1 | Breedon SHFL

Inverurie Locos & Rothes fought out a thoroughly entertaining & largely high quality draw under the Harlaw Park lights. A goal of the utmost skill from Rob Ward was cancelled out by a header from Fraser Robertson. Breedon Highland League. Inverurie Locos 1 Rothes 1 Match Stats. Shots ON 5-6, Shots OFF 9-3, Fouls 14-9, Corners 5-4, Offside 3-3, Yellows 1-2. Locos – A Reid Mitchell Dingwall Souter Broadhurst Ward McLean Shanks (Gauld) Still Gill (Robertson) Meres (McGowan). Unused subs-Hunter Michie Adams Cook Rothes – McCarthy Stark Finnis Johnstone Milne Robertson Gunn Pollock Morrison Cormack A MacKenzie. Subs-Harkness McRitchie Niel Davies I Mackenzie New Locos manager Richie Hastings was watching on from the Main Stand with interim gaffer Steven Park controlling things from the technical area. Gary McGowan had been captured just ahead of the fixture from Banks o’ Dee & was on the bench. The injured Sam Burnett was replaced by Ross Still in the starting line up. Rothes arrived in the Aberdeenshire capital fresh from a comprehensive win over Buckie Thistle. The man in the middle was Filippo Mazzoni, taking care of his first Locos fixture since matchday one of the previous campaign. This one kicked off in dreich drizzle, with Locos attacking the Harlaw Road end. Dingwall strode forward with bis swerving shot clearing the bar. Still & MacKenzie had efforts caught by their opposing goalies with McCarthy then swiftly off his line with Souter sneaking in on the blindside. A Cormack shot was easily caught but this tussle was ignited by a goal fit to grace any stadium in the world. Rob WARD made space for himself before rasping in a crackerjack that was made all the more spectacular by kissing the woodwork on it’s route to swishing the onion bag. What a lovely, lovely goal by the Locos top scorer. Meres saw McCarthy show nice glovemanship next as a driven low ball was gathered. Andy Reid denied a near certain Cormack goal with a top point blank save. Shanks was working like a beaver & had a low shot held, with a Johnstone pass nearly ending up in his own net. A Locos chance was then cleared from below the bar, with loud appeals for the ball having crossed the line, with Dingwall’s rebound driven into the ground & skipping up & over. Ward marauded forward & lashed a thirty yarder wide. Locos had been the better of two good sides & the 1-0 half-time score was fair. Ward caused havoc at the beginning of the second period & played in Shanks for a pop at goal. Rothes levelled next with Fraser ROBERTSON heading home a rebound after a Locos error gifted Rothes possession. Allan Pollock fired over & had a quick free kick go wide, whilst Dingwall had another effort fly over the crossbar with Ward shooting into the sidenet. Keeper McCarthy dropped the football under no pressure but was able to compose himself & retrieve it before Locos capitalize. McGowan came on for his debut & impressed in this Harlaw cameo. Sub Gauld had an effort deflect wide & Still had a header go wide. Morrison’s late shot was easily fielded by Reid & the Mazzoni whistle confirmed that Locos had played out their one hundredth draw in senior soccer. Locos had created more than the visitors but Rothes had more significant possession & possibly just edged proceedings in general open play. Therefore the share of the spoils had a reasonable & logical feel to it. The number four was to the fore at full time. Locos in fourth, four points off the lead & one of only four teams left unbeaten. It’s an away day at Bellslea next against the strongest side thus far, with their second half performance in the cup final perhaps the best football observed in this campaign. #EXsports #cristianoronaldo #Euro2020 Belgium vs Portugal 1 - 0 | Belgium vs Portugal | Euro 2020 HIGHLIGHTS Belgium knocked defending champions Portugal out of Euro 2020 with a 1-0 victory in the last 16 on Sunday to set up a mouth-watering quarter-final tie against Italy. A 43rd-minute strike from Thorgan Hazard secured the win for Roberto Martinez's team, who survived plenty of pressure from the Portuguese in the second half. - Dawson: Belgium prove they're more than just goals - De Bruyne, Hazard subbed off with injuries vs. Portugal - Euro 2020 on ESPN: Stream LIVE games and replays (U.S. only) - Euro 2020 on ESPN: Latest news, features, video But with the finishing touch missing, it was the end of the road for Cristiano Ronaldo and a Portugal team who had triumphed in Paris five years ago. Ronaldo bows out with five goals from four games, and is currently the tournament's top scorer. Yet it remains to be seen if the 36-year-old will return for a sixth Euros in Germany in 2024 or if the competition's all-time top scorer will bow out of national team duty after the Qatar World Cup next year. Belgium were among the pre-tournament favourites but this was a stodgy and uninspired display and they will need to raise their game significantly if they are to get past Roberto Mancini's Azzurri who are unbeaten in 31 matches. Thorgan Hazard's fine goal was their only effort on target in the whole 90 minutes and there was little invention or flair from their midfield. "In the first half we were playing high and putting pressure on Portugal, but looking at that second half, we are lucky to win," said Belgium defender Thomas Vermaelen. The task against Italy could be even more difficult if Kevin De Bruyne and Eden Hazard, who both came off with knocks in the second half, are unable to recover from their latest injury woes. Portugal began brightly and Diogo Jota wasted a great chance in the sixth minute, dragging his shot wide after Renato Sanches had broken from midfield and found him in a promising position on the left. Ronaldo then tested Belgium keeper Thibaut Courtois with a low-struck free kick as Fernando Santos's team continued to apply pressure. But Belgium grew into the game with De Bruyne increasingly influential and they grabbed the lead three minutes before the interval. A smart passing move ended with Thomas Meunier feeding Thorgan Hazard, whose wickedly swerving shot flew past the wrong-footed Portugal keeper Rui Patricio. Patricio stepped to the right in anticipation of a near post shot but was unable to get back across and was beaten by an effort that flew in centrally. "In these kinds of games you have to grab your chances with both hands and voila, the goalkeeper expected me to choose the other corner, so the ball went in," said the scorer. Belgium suffered a blow when De Bruyne limped off with an injury three minutes after the break and Santos sought to breathe life into his side's attack by introducing Bruno Fernandes and Joao Felix from the bench. Ronaldo, cutting in from the right, did well to find Jota in the box but again the forward's effort was off target as Belgium struggled to contain their opponents. Belgium's attempts to counter were increasingly rare and Portugal turned up the heat in the final 10 minutes as they searched desperately for an equaliser. Courtois punched away a thundering Ruben Dias header from a corner and then Raphael Guerreiro struck the post with a sweet first-time shot from the edge of the box. #EXsports #cristianoronaldo #Euro2020 Belgium vs Portugal 1 - 0 | Belgium vs Portugal | Euro 2020 HIGHLIGHTS

When Shahid Afridi Bit the ball for the magic of reverse swing against Australia #Shorts
When Shahid Afridi Bit the ball for the magic of reverse swing against Australia #Shorts

Shahid Afridi admits to tampering with the ball by biting it in his autobiography. Afridi admits he meddled the ball in search of swing which he described as a desperate situation. Ball tampering issue has been always there since the advent of international cricket, but more focus on it came in 1992-93 when Pakistani fast bowlers mount pressure with their reverse swing on a tour to England and since then many players have done the dirty deed, from Michael Atherton to Faf du Plessis, to more famous trio of Steve Smith, Cameron Bancroft and David Warner. The trio is famous due to their deed been captured on the cameras, but they were not the first to be caught while tampering, but it was Pakistan’s Shahid Afridi who was seen biting the ball during an ODI game in Pakistan and now he has admitted in his just-released autobiography ‘Game Changer’. Afridi admits to tampering with the ball in 2010 While the great bowlers like Wasim Akram, Imran Khan, Waqar Younis were accused of scratching one side of the ball with fingernails, soda bottle caps and whatnot to attain reverse swing, they have taken the secret to the magic which makes the ball swerve and swing like a snake, with them into retirement. But Afridi in his autobiography, he has manned up and written that in 2010, when he became the Pakistani captain for the first time, he did bite the ball to ensure his bowlers could swing it. Afridi admits he meddled the ball in search of swing in what he described to be a desperate situation. He mentions that he bit the ball several times so as to dent it and end up with a rougher surface on one side, in order for the bowlers to get reverse swing. Whether his bowlers did get the swing or not, Afridi became an instant sensation on YouTube when the video of him biting the ball like an apple went viral and not only that, he was also banned for 2 T20I matches, as he was charged with an article 2.2.9 offence of the ICC Code of Conduct which relates to “changing the condition of the ball in breach of Law 42.3 of the Laws of Cricket”. #Shorts #Afridi #Pakistan #BallTampering #Cricket
