Two goals by Benzema give Real Madrid the three points against Celta at Balaídos. The Whites gradually forced Granada back into their half and that was soon reflected on the scoreboard. with 19 minutes played Vini Jr. won back the ball from Puertas in midfield, Kroos picked out Asensio's deep run and the Spaniard made no mistake to finish past Maximiano. Ancelotti's men doubled their lead shortly after with a great move. Kroos drilled in a low delivery from the corner to Modrić, who played it back to him, and the German picked out Nacho, whose first-time shot flew in off the crossbar. A lightning-quick counter-attack saw Benzema and Vini Jr. link up as they looked to kill off the game, but Soro cleared Asensio's shot off the line. From having the third goal at their fingertips, it was suddenly 2-1 when Luis Suárez reduced the deficit on 34 minutes. His long-range effort took a deflection off Nacho which sent it flying into the back of the net, leaving Courtois with no chance.
