Minute vom Elfmeterpunkt, Napoli kam jedoch durch Lozano zum verdienten 1:1-Ausgleich. Die Mozartstädter bleiben Dritter in der Tabelle und brauchen aus den zwei weiteren Spielen wohl zwei Siege und auch Schützenhilfe, um noch den Sprung in das Achtelfinale zu wahren. Der 10. Spieltag der LOTTO Hessenliga hielt einige Überraschungen bereit. Favoriten strauchelten, Underdogs nutzten ihre Chancen. Mit dabei der SC Viktoria Griesheim, dem ein 2:1-Heimerfolg gegen Regionalliga-Absteiger SC Hessen Dreieich gelang. Im inoffiziellen Südgipfel der LOTTO Hessenliga waren es zunächst die Gäste, die den ersten Treffer setzen konnten. Doch mit großer Moral drehten die Schwarz-Weißen die Partie und durften sich über drei Punkte, den zweiten Sieg in Folge und dem Sprung auf Tabellenplatz 13 freuen…vorbei am SCHD. Sandro Junior war der strahlende Siegerhengst der Holsteiner Körung 2017 in Neumünster. Bei erstklassigem Rasse- und Geschlechtstyp, der alle Vorzüge und klassischen Tugenden der Holsteiner Zucht widerspiegelt, offenbart er ein Springkapital, wie man es sich kaum besser wünschen kann: Mit schier grenzenlosem Vermögen bei bester Beintechnik und Bascule meistert er geradezu spielerisch höchste Abmessungen. Beste Gene der internationalen Springpferdezucht vereinigen sich im Pedigree von Sandro Junior: Der Vater Sandro Boy siegte mit Marcus Ehning in 25 S-Springen und hat über 1,2 Millionen Euro gewonnen. Besondere Highlights waren etwa der Sieg im Weltcup-Finale von Kuala Lumpur und im Großen Preis von Frankfurt oder der zweite Platz in der Riders Tour Gesamtwertung 2010. Die Mutter Bona lieferte mit Christer (v. Connor) bereits den Reservesieger der Holsteiner Körung 2016. Der Muttervater Singulord Joter beendete seinen 70-Tage Test in der Springanlage mit der Note 10,0. Später war er Seriensieger in Springpferdeprüfungen bis Klasse M und hocherfolgreich in internationalen Youngsterprüfungen. Die Nachkommen schafften in auffallender Häufigkeit den Sprung in die Klasse S. Singulord Joter hat genau wie die im fallenden Stamm nachfolgenden, ausnahmslos leistungsstarken Hengste Acodetto I, Acobat II und Mytens xx auf der Station Hell in Holstein gestanden. Mit den bedeutenden Vererbern Fasolt und Marlon xx führt die weitere Abstammung schließlich in direkter Linie zu der legendären Schimmelstute Retina (v. Ramzes AA), die unter Fritz Thiedemann seinerzeit das prestigeträchtige Deutsche Springderby gewann und als Mutter des Cottage Son xx-Stammhalters Capitano großen Einfluss auf die Holsteiner Zucht nahm. Der Stamm 104 a, dem Sandro Junior entspringt, brachte über 70 gekörte Hengste, u. a. Abdulkarim, Aldan, Caretano, Carloni, Carneval, Celano, Contendro I und II, Corland (NED), Corretto, Landego, Landetto (BEL), Laurin, Leuthen I und II sowie die internationalen Spitzenpferde Corradina/Carsten-Otto Nagel, Athlet und Corlanda/beide Willi Melliger (SUI) sowie Athletico/Ludger Beerbaum hervor. As was another player who caught the eye for his country during the past fortnight – Wales’s David Brooks. It was Brooks who had the ball in the net after only eight minutes following a neat one-two with Joshua King only for the goal to be ruled offside by the assistant referee on the near side.
