► SPONSOR THIS VIDEO: footballdailyuk@gmail.com It’s silly season in the football world, with rumour after rumour flying around connecting players with clubs. But which are the most ridiculous as the window has opened up? There’s Barcelona linked with Aston Villa youngster Carney Chukwuemeka. Also touted for a move away from Villa Park is Danny Ings, with Manchester United interested – and that’s because Steven Gerrard wants to bring Luis Suarez back to the Premier League. Gareth Bale is being linked with anyone and everyone, whilst Edinson Cavani is being tipped for a move to Serie A minnows Salernitana. There’s no way Arsenal will sell Bukayo Saka to Manchester City, likewise for West Ham and Tomas Soucek amid Spurs links, and it’s hard to see Sergej Milinkovic-Savic seeing Fulham as the best move for his career. Finally, an Argentina Primera Division club wanted Sheffield Wednesday’s Josh Windass, and Mason Mount was tipped for a move to Manchester United. Truly outrageous. ► SUBSCRIBE to FOOTBALL DAILY: http://bit.ly/fdsubscribe ► SUBSCRIBE to EURO FOOTBALL DAILY: https://bit.ly/37igEnb ► SUBSCRIBE to FOOTBALL DAILY PODCASTS: https://bit.ly/3moyeMO ► JOIN THE FAN RUN FD FAMILY DISCORD: https://discord.gg/KH5YMxA ► SIGN UP FOR A FREE SMARTERSCOUT MEMBERSHIP HERE: https://smarterscout.com/ This is Football Daily - the home of Premier League fan analysis on YouTube. What a massive result that was! Beating Wolves 1-0 last weekend wasn't just another three points in the bag and a much needed improved performance, it was also a statement to the other teams battling for the top six that David Moyes' men aren't done fighting just yet. Defeat could have been disastrous for our top-six hopes, due to so many of our rivals having several games in hand on us, but the three points means that our fate is back in our own hands after weeks of underwhelming performances. Moyes tweaked the system, opting for a back-five, and it did the trick with Wolves struggling to find answers in and out possession for much of the 90 minutes. Tomas Soucek's second-half winner was all it needed but in truth, it could've and should've been more on the day. James and Will gave their thoughts on the win in this week's show, with James in particular raving about the improved performance from all of the players against Wolves. It's fair to say West Ham were somewhat fortunate to have come away with a point from the King Power Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Craig Dawson's 91st minute equaliser - which very clearly came off his arm - ensured the game ended 2-2, after Leicester bounced back from Jarrod Bowen's 10th-minute opener. Issa Diop had a superb game after being drafted in at late notice for the unwell Kurt Zouma, but the rest of the squad weren't at the races. Vladimir Coufal was poor, Aaron Cresswell had an off day, Michail Antonio barely broke a sweat and Tomas Soucek was barely noticeable whatsoever. But we managed to avoid defeat to ensure we kept our position in the Premier League's top four, albeit by a single point and with everyone else having games in hand still to play. Here's what James and Will thought of the game on this week's episode - let us know your thoughts in the comments below! 🍻 Buy us a pint: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/Wearewestham 🎧 Subscribe: https://podfollow.com/we-are-west-ham-podcast 📱 Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/WeAre_WestHam 👍🏻 Like us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/wearewesthampod 📸 Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/wearewesthapod 📧 Email us: wearewesthampod@gmail.com #WHUFC #COYI #WESTHAM
