#CopaDelRey El Fuenlabrada y el Levante se verán las caras en los dieciseisavos de final de la Copa del Rey, una cita que hubiera supuesto la vuelta a la localidad madrileña como jugador de otro equipo de José Luis Morales. 'El comandante' firmó por el conjunto valenciano procedente del cuadro fuenlabreño cuando este jugaba aún en La Aldehuela, pese a lo cual en el estadio Fernando Torres se preparaban para recibirle con los brazos abiertos. Sin embargo eso no será finalmente posible ya que la cita ha tenido que desplazarse unos kilómetros más allá, a Las Rozas, debido a las consecuencias que ha dejado en el campo la gran nevada que cayó sobre la Comunidad de Madrid días atrás. Pese a ello los 'azulones' albergan la esperanza de poder dar la sorpresa en un lugar donde días atrás a punto estuvo de verse un milagro copero cuando el Las Rozas CF, actualmente en Segunda B, puso contra las cuerdas al Eibar igualando un 0-3 en contra. Esta vez la diferencia de categoría será menor y el Levante no podrá decir que no llega avisado después de que su rival dejara en la cuneta al Mallorca, uno de los principales candidatos al ascenso a LaLiga Santander a final de temporada. De cara a este enfrentamiento la plantilla que dirige José Ramón Sandoval seguirá contando con las bajas del portero Dragan Rosic y del delantero Sekou Gassama. En cambio podrían volver, aunque su participación está en duda, el defensa Juanma Marrero y el centrocampista Pathé Ciss. El Levante ha puesto muchas esperanzas en esta competición y confía en superar la eliminatoria ante el Fuenlabrada y tener un buen sorteo en los octavos de final para llegar lo más lejos posible. El entrenador del Levante, Paco López, tiene la baja por lesión de Enis Bardhi y José Campaña, quienes pese a que ya se entrenan con el equipo no tienen el alta médica, y ha dado descanso al lateral Jorge Miramón. Además, el gallego Rober Pier sigue confinado por coronavirus y, sin embargo, el entrenador valenciano ha recuperado al también central Rubén Vezo, quien precisamente acaba de superar la covid-19.
