Lando Norris Hits Back At "Nonsense" Ricciardo Rumours
Lando Norris Hits Back At "Nonsense" Ricciardo Rumours

Being lapped by another car is never a positive situation for a driver especially if the driver is your teammate. McLaren’s Daniel Ricciardo found himself in this predicament recently when teammate Lando Norris lapped him in Monaco. Onboard footage showed that Lando Norris waved at Ricciardo when he passed him. Some have suggested that this was meant in a belittling manner. Norris has now shut down such claims and explained the purpose of his wave while speaking on his Twitch channel Link to poll: https://www.youtube.com/post/Ugy-cqoyGC1pmlsYzeZ4AaABCQ 0:00 - Did Norris Wave Sarcastically At Ricciardo When Lapping Him? 1:23 - Fast Feed I'm your host Dillon Shelley and first up on Formula World: Did Norris Wave Sarcastically At Ricciardo When Lapping Him? Norris gave his opinion on the suggestion that his wave had an ulterior motive “I see so many of you make up absolute crap and nonsense as usual” He then explained why he waved “Any time someone lets me pass for a blue flag, anyone, if they get out of the way properly – and they should – I put my hand up and say thanks, alright? I’m saying thanks” He also added that Ricciardo wasn’t the only one he waved at in Monaco “I [waved] to freaking everyone: Mazepin, Schumacher, Danny. Whoever I passed and they got out the way, I put my hand up and say thanks, right?” He signed off by reiterating that people should not read too much into any of this “So, don’t just notice one when I frigging passed Danny and then think I’m doing something that I’m not, alright? Let me just get that point across because I see a lot of stories that people make up” Fast Feed Aston Martin team principal Otmar Szafnauer thinks that “for 'low rake' cars [flexible wings] makes an average difference of a couple of tenths per lap approximately” “However, there are tracks where you don't benefit at all, while elsewhere it might be half a second” Red Bull team principal Christian Horner feels that Mercedes team principal “Toto [Wolff] has had it far too easy for the last seven years” "It's about time he had something to do" added Horner He further hopes “it goes all the way to the wire. That's what the fans want to see, and what they have been crying out for, although [he doesn’t] know if [his] nerves could take it” Horner is also of the opinion that they’re “tremendously useful to Liberty Media and F1, because [they] could gear up to supply other teams if required, as manufacturers tend to come and go” “To have an independent engine builder like Red Bull Powertrains is attractive to Liberty” He also revealed how they had to start working on their own engine as “Mercedes wouldn’t supply one and Renault didn’t want to supply one, so it didn’t leave [them] with a lot of choice” He further joked that they’ve “got to get on with it and make Toto rue that decision. Maybe one day [Toto] will need an engine from [Red Bull]!” Alpine CEO Marcin Budkowski feels that their “competitors made the most of the race [in Monaco], especially those behind [them]” He also suggested that “both [his drivers] struggled, but the difference was in the fact that Esteban [Ocon] was able to get his tyres to work in Q1, and Fernando [Alonso] wasn't” Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz has cautioned that his podium in Monaco “doesn't mean [they] can fight for pole or the podium with Mercedes and Red Bull now” He thinks Mercedes and Red Bull “are still ahead of [Ferrari]. This weekend is a bit hard to digest because you don't know when the next opportunity will present itself” Retired F1 driver Felipe Massa thinks that Carlos Sainz “fits well with the team from Maranello [Ferrari] and he has to keep dreaming of the highest achievable now as well” “As a driver you have to keep on believing. In Charles Leclerc he has an excellent teammate, who has a bright future ahead of him. That completes the picture for Ferrari” added Massa Red Bull’s Sergio Perez hopes that he “can put a strong qualifying together [in Baku] because [they’ve] proved that [their] race pace is right up there with the best” They “just have to improve [their] Saturdays and then [they] should be fine” The only thing McLaren team principal Andreas Seidl wants “to say is that this was clearly a one-off livery” “About plans for the future, [he] can't say anything at the moment” Was Ferrari’s Monaco pace only a one-off performance?

Tristan Thompson 25 Points/1 Three Full Highlights (10/26/2019)
Tristan Thompson 25 Points/1 Three Full Highlights (10/26/2019)

Tristan Thompson had played in 563 regular-season NBA games prior to tonight. In all 563 of those games, he made exactly zero three-pointers. In 554 of those games, he attempted exactly zero three-pointers. The scouting report on him was very clear: he does not shoot threes. Ever. And if he sometimes accidentally shoots a three, it does not go in. Ever. That era of Tristan Thompson basketball ended tonight. Behold, the new era of Tristan Thompson basketball is upon us: the era where he shoots threes for a few games before stopping because it's not really working out. You remember the "shooting threes" era of Andre Drummond's career, right? That's how this is going to be. If I'm wrong (and I won't be), you can try to call me out on it, but by that point I'll have edited this description to say that I have full confidence in his three-point shooting abilities going forward. That's the great thing about the Internet, as Chad Ford found out. If you're wrong, you can make yourself un-wrong as long as no one has some sort of archive of all the stuff you put out there. I'm guess that in the next few games he'll attempt one or two threes per contest, none of them will go in, and he'll go back to being a pure rim roller and garbageman. But, it was fun while it lasted. The Cavs commentators were having an absolute blast. Actually, it sounded like they were having an absolute blast the ENTIRE game. I miss Fred McLeod already, I guess you don't miss what you have until it's gone. For real. I'm not even being sarcastic right now. I didn't even realize I liked the dude until I heard some random unknown dude (is it Brad Daugherty????) say "I love it!" over and over while adding nothing of substance. Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson left unhappy with treatment of Wilfried Zaha
Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson left unhappy with treatment of Wilfried Zaha

Subscribe to our channel: https://goo.gl/pqS0mLCrystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson left unhappy with treatment of Wilfried Zaha. Wilfried Zaha has apologised for getting sent off in Crystal Palace's draw at Southampton as Roy Hodgson revealed his frustration at the treatment of his star man on Wednesday night. His team had been on course for a deserved victory when Zaha scored his first goal since September 15 with a fine finish in the 41st minute. In the second half, Mamadou Sakho had one effort disallowed before seeing another cleared off the line by Jan Bednarek as they threatened to increase their lead, but James Ward-Prowse scored his third goal in three league games to secure a draw before his tussle with Zaha led to the latter's red card. Booked for his exchange with Ward-Prowse, who scored in the 77th minute, Zaha sarcastically applauded referee Andre Marriner to earn a second yellow that will mean he misses Saturday's fixture at home to Fulham. Zaha tweeted after the game, expressing his regret at his actions. He wrote: 'All I can do is apologise to the team and the fans for my red card tonight because I could of cost us today. I will learn from it for sure.' 'It's disappointing that a player who perhaps provided the most entertainment throughout the game was consistently fouled,' said Hodgson, who refused to criticise Marriner. 'That he wasn't able to contain his frustration with that consistent fouling and complains about a foul that wasn't given and probably should have been. 'I don't think he's targeted as a person I just think players who run with the ball as well as he does just get fouled. His play was good enough to provoke those fouls. 'It's not a good evening knowing he's going to miss the next game. We need him playing. 'We were fairly well in control. The first half performance was very good. Second half we should really have taken one or two of the chances that came our way.' Asked if he expects Palace to make any new signings before the conclusion of the January transfer window, the 71-year-old responded: 'I'm happy with the squad I've got but it's not that big. I don't know that there's any activity planned. 'We've brought in Bakary Sako. I was told we'd bring in two players but I don't count the young goalkeeper (loanee Lucas Perri); a goalkeeper was far from a priority.' Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl, who has led his team to eight points from their past 12 as they gather momentum in their battle against relegation, dismissed Hodgson's suggestions Zaha had been targeted and praised Ward-Prowse for becoming so influential. Asked of the attention the 26-year-old Zaha received, he responded: 'Not more than our players were also fouled. (Nathan) Redmond also has to take a lot of tackling situations against him. 'It's normal that good players get more pressure because if you want to defend them you have to be close to them. 'The interesting thing was (Ward-Prowse) scored from the full-back position after we switched the shape. It is absolutely fantastic for taking this chance with both hands.' The Austrian, 51, also insisted he remains unsure over whether Charlie Austin will remain at the club, and is regardless content with his squad. 'I don't want to take a transfer that doesn't fit 100 per cent to us,' he said. 'Maybe in the summer but with this squad to go until May is not a problem. I expect nothing (with Austin).'

Cousins hits back at critics of his free agency move to Warriors
Cousins hits back at critics of his free agency move to Warriors

All-Star big man DeMarcus Cousins surprised many NBA observers this summer when he chose to sign with the two-time defending champion Golden State Warriors in free agency. A drastic move like that -- one that allows the Warriors to add another superstar to their already star-stocked starting lineup -- was sure to draw some criticism. Yet for Cousins, he is adamant he doesn't care what others think about his latest career choice. In the latest teaser for the Showtime documentary he's working on about his return from injury and free agency choice, the former New Orleans Pelicans big man doesn't mince words about his move to California. "I knew how it would be perceived by some ... I don’t give a [expletive],” Cousins said in a video released on Twitter. "There's some [expletives] out there that's ripping their hair out, and I love it. It's just another test for me to overcome. ... I'm a fighter, I never give up and I'm taking this challenge head on." In the clip, Cousins explains why he signed with the Warriors and how playing for Golden State would give him the best chance to win as he recovers from his Achilles injury. He is set to have his introductory news conference with the Warriors on Thursday morning. Cousins tore his Achilles in late January and underwent surgery. He has posted regular updates on social media with the hash tags “The Resurgence” and “0 Doubt.” “This is my ace of spade, this was my nuclear bomb, my last resort,” Cousins said. “Yeah, I could have probably got a contract -- a decent contract -- from a bad team. But how does that help me?" “I’m already fighting a career-ending injury,” Cousins added. “I’m not gonna put myself in an already-bad situation and try to prove my value or my worth as a player in a situation that’s not looking to win.” Before his injury in February, Cousins expected to receive a five-year, $150 million contract extension from the Pelicans. However, that deal did not materialize and Cousins says in the Showtime video clip that he never received an offer from New Orleans once free agency opened. "I understand. They had a big year," Cousins said in a somewhat sarcastic tone. "They don't want to ruin it taking a chance on me. I'm a damaged player. Cool." Additionally, Cousins said he and his long-time agent, Jarin Akana, reached out to other teams about an offer. But he said they got answers like "we don't believe it's a good fit, or, we gotta see what we're doing with our roster right now ... just kind of, just, [expletive] answers. And then there were some that were just flat out, like, 'we can't take that risk.' " Cousins says he talked with Warriors stars Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Kevin Durant, who all wanted him to come aboard and put him at ease with joining Golden State. Shortly after he agreed to a deal with the Warriors, Cousins spoke at length with The Undefeated's Marc J. Spears about his decision. He voiced similar things in that interview that he references in his Showtime
