The Minnesota Timberwolves just tied up their NBA Playoffs series against the San Antonio Spurs 2-2 after Victor Wembanyama was ejected for elbowing Naz Reid in the face and getting a flagrant two. It was a play that likely lost the Spurs the game, in addition to an Anthony Edwards masterclass, and could alter the series if Wemby faces a suspension or, even if not, if the Timberwolves continue to ramp up the pressure with their experience while the Oklahoma City Thunder rest after a likely sweep of the Los Angeles Lakers. Meanwhile, the New York Knicks swept the Philadelphia 76ers in a series that was never really close. San Antonio Spurs vs Minnesota Timberwolves Full Game 4 Highlights - May 10, 2026 | NBA Playoffs #nba #highlights #basketball Anthony Edwards had 16 of his 36 points in the fourth quarter to help the Minnesota Timberwolves even their second-round NBA playoff series against the San Antonio Spurs with a 114-109 victory, following the stunning ejection of star Victor Wembanyama early in the second quarter of Game 4 on Sunday. Naz Reid took the fateful elbow to the neck from a frustrated Wembanyama and finished with 15 points and nine rebounds to help the Timberwolves finish strong after some shaky stretches. Harper and Fox each scored 24 points and Stephon Castle added 20 as the Spurs guards unflinchingly took the baton from their 7-foot-4 superstar and turned the rest of the night into a mid-range clinic with an array of pull-up jumpers in and around the paint. After committing six turnovers in a 20-point third quarter, the Wolves found themselves in another eight-point hole early in the fourth following Fox's 3-pointer before delivering another clutch finish. “We have a resilient group of guys. No matter the circumstances, we are going to keep fighting and give everything we have and keep trusting one another,” Gobert said. “Just making the right play. That’s who we are. We might not be always consistent with that, but I feel like when it matters, we raise our level.”
The Golden Knights are playing the Anaheim Ducks in game four of the second round. After being beaten by Anaheim in game 2 in Vegas, the Knights came back in Anaheim and beat the Ducks 6-2 with a Marner hat trick and the rest came in soon after. Tonight they look to go up 3-1 in the series. After suffering through their longest losing streak since 2024, the Reds bounced back with a much-needed 3-1 win over the Houston Astros on Saturday at Great American Ball Park. Cincinnati snapped an eight-game skid and now has a chance to win the series on Sunday against one of the American League’s top teams. The losing streak had quickly changed the outlook of the Reds’ season. Just a couple of weeks ago, Cincinnati was near the top of the NL Central standings. But a brutal stretch of losses dropped the Reds down the standings as the offense struggled to produce consistently and the pitching staff couldn’t catch a break. Saturday felt different. Rookie pitcher Chase Burns delivered another strong performance and gave the Reds exactly what they needed. Burns allowed just one run over six innings while continuing to show why he has become one of the most exciting young pitchers in baseball. The right-hander improved to 4-1 on the season and lowered his ERA to 2.11. Houston took a brief 1-0 lead in the fifth inning on a solo home run, but the Reds answered immediately. Matt McLain came through with a two-run single to put Cincinnati ahead, and Elly De La Cruz added an RBI hit later in the inning to extend the lead to 3-1. The Reds bullpen handled the rest. Brock Burke, Graham Ashcraft and Pierce Johnson combined for three scoreless innings to close out the win. Johnson earned his first save of the season as Cincinnati celebrated its first victory in over a week. Now the Reds will try to build on that momentum in Sunday’s series finale. Left-hander Andrew Abbott is expected to start for Cincinnati. Abbott has had an up-and-down season so far, but he showed encouraging signs in his last outing against the Chicago Cubs. He carried a shutout into the sixth inning before leaving with a no-decision in a tough 3-2 loss. The Reds are hoping Abbott can continue trending in the right direction against a dangerous Astros lineup that still features several proven hitters. Houston remains one of the better offensive teams in baseball and can score quickly when its lineup gets rolling. The Astros are expected to start Kai-Wei Teng, who will be making just his second start of the season. Teng has mostly pitched out of the bullpen this year but has been effective in limited action. For Cincinnati, the offense will once again be a major storyline. The Reds have struggled offensively during the losing streak, but Saturday’s win featured more timely hitting and better at-bats throughout the lineup. McLain’s two-run single was one of the biggest hits the Reds have had in over a week, while De La Cruz continued to provide energy near the top of the order. Will Benson has also started swinging the bat better recently, and the Reds are hoping players like Spencer Steer and Christian Encarnacion-Strand can continue to heat up as well. Manager Terry Francona has continued to shuffle the lineup looking for consistency, especially during the team’s offensive struggles over the last several games. Even with the recent losing streak, the Reds are still very much in the mix in the NL Central race. A series win over Houston would not completely erase the frustration of the past week, but it would certainly help Cincinnati regain some confidence moving forward. More importantly, Saturday’s victory reminded everyone what this team looks like when the pitching, defense and timely hitting all come together. The Reds will now try to carry that momentum into Sunday and secure an important series victory before turning the page to the next part of their schedule.

The A’s came home from a brutal Philly-Baltimore road trip sitting two-and-a-half games up in the AL West, and Hobbs is officially sounding the alarm for the rest of baseball. This episode of Habit Hunter breaks down a gritty series win over the Orioles that showed something the A’s haven’t consistently had in years: real pitching stability. Hobbs dives deep into the numbers behind the rotation turnaround, the reduction in walks, and the biggest trend changing the season — starters finally keeping the team alive instead of detonating games by the third inning. Jacob Lopez continues flashing both promise and warning signs, Luis Severino battles through another frustrating outing, and Mitch Spence… well, “Mr. Foot Traffic” still exists in spirit through Mark Leiter Jr. chaos. At the plate, the stars are beginning to separate themselves from the pack. Shea Langeliers is turning into a full-blown superstar before everyone’s eyes, Nick Kurtz keeps stacking quality at-bats like a veteran ten years older, and Brent Rooker is slowly dragging himself out of the Mendoza Line graveyard one loud RBI at a time. Hobbs also unloads on the team’s horrifying strikeout totals, questionable bullpen usage, and the obsession with trying to squeeze “one more out” from exhausted pitchers. Add in ABS drama, Jacob Wilson’s scary injury, reverse-jinx wizardry from Booney, and a roll call that paints the picture of a first-place club learning how to win ugly, and this episode feels like the moment the A’s stopped being a cute story and started looking dangerous.
