Steelers' 42-21 Playoff Loss To Chiefs Shows Needs In Their Future In Ben Roethlisberger's Last Game
The Pittsburgh Steelers brought the fight initially to the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs, as T.J. Watt, Cam Heyward and Devin Bush brought the early turnovers that gave the Steelers a lead. But Ben Roethlisberger and the offense couldn't capitalize with only two first downs in the first half. Once Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs caught their breaths, it was over. It was a sad way for Roethlisberger to end his career, but it also was a sign of what's needed for Mike Tomlin to keep building with the roster on-hand. The Steelers may need a re-do at receiver as Diontae Johnson had a bad game and Chase Claypool didn't help either. What's the legacy of Big Ben now that his career is likely over? No Word From The NHL On The OT Call. How Important Are High Tech Practice Facilities To Free Agents?
Well it's been 24 hours and we have yet to hear from the NHL on the play that gifted the Nashville Predators an OT win against the Colorado Avalanche. Probably give it another day, and if still nothing, we can probably expect nothing. We eerily received a listener question prior to the Avs / Preds game if refs should wear cameras, so we can see what they see. Would this have made a difference on this play in particular? Probably not, but since refs are not made available to the media, we would at least get a video angle from their perspective. Chris and Kyle also talk about the very interesting Athletic article that discusses the race to build the biggest and the best practice facilities around the league in an effort to impress free agents. Teams like the Seattle Kraken and the LA Kings have spared no expense to build facilities that not only house the franchise, but are available to the community for various events. Are the Colorado Avalanche trailing in the aspect and would this be enough for potential free agents to jump ship. And is this a reason Philipp Grubauer did this very thing?
