#LaLiga #RayoSevilla El Rayo afronta en una preocupante crisis de resultados la visita del Sevilla, que llega a Vallecas plagado de bajas pero reforzado por su triunfo en la Liga Europa ante el West Ham inglés y con el objetivo de afianzarse en la segunda plaza de la clasificación. El equipo madrileño se encuentra en un bache de resultados que se está prolongando desde el parón navideño. De los ocho partidos ligueros disputados este 2022 solo ha sumado un punto de veinticuatro posibles y no gana desde hace dos meses y medio, desde el 18 de diciembre de 2021 frente al Alavés. En este tiempo, el equipo encadena siete derrotas -las últimas seis seguidas- y solo un empate, un pobre balance que le ha hecho pasar en solo dos meses de vivir cómodamente en la zona noble de la tabla a empezar a mirar con preocupación hacía abajo. Debido a esta mala racha el partido frente al Sevilla se antoja vital, puesto que un nuevo tropiezo dejaría al equipo en una situación muy delicada, a sabiendas que la próxima jornada visitará Vallecas otro rival complicado, el Atlético de Madrid. Para este partido Andoni Iraola cuenta con bajas importantes. En el centro de la zaga no está disponible el montenegrino Esteban Saveljich, al que es probable que sustituya Mario Suárez. Otras dos bajas importantes son las de los extremos Isi Palazón y Álvaro García, ambos sancionados, que serán suplidos previsiblemente por el senegalés Mamadou Sylla y el portugués Bebé, sus recambios naturales. En la punta de ataque la máxima referencia seguirá siendo Sergi Guardiola, puesto que el colombiano Radamel Falcao sigue arrastrando la lesión muscular que padece desde hace dos semanas, y de la que aún no se ha recuperado a tiempo, y seguirá de baja. Enfrente estará el Sevilla, que, a ocho puntos del líder, llega a la cita reforzado por su triunfo en la ida de los octavos de final de la Liga Europa ante el West Ham, pero también con ocho bajas, una constante en los últimos meses en el equipo de Julen Lopetegui. Los sevillistas, que llevan trece partidos invictos en la Liga, afrontan el choque con la ambición de superar su asignatura pendiente esta temporada, dar su mejor versión a domicilio y conseguir un triunfo para intentar seguir en la pelea, cada vez más lejana, por el título. También para no seguir cediendo terreno ante sus principales perseguidores: Atlético de Madrid y Barcelona. Y es que la victoria a domicilio se le niega al Sevilla desde hace más de dos meses, cuando el 3 de enero vencieron en Cádiz (0-1). Desde entonces, aunque ganó al Zaragoza en la Copa, encadena seis partidos sin ganar lejos de Nervión, con dos derrotas (contra el Betis en el torneo copero y en Europa en Zagreb) y cuatro empates ligueros (Valencia, Osasuna, Espanyol y Alavés). Por ello, y a pesar de que las lesiones siguen persiguiendo al conjunto de Lopetegui, el Sevilla sabe que debe dar un paso adelante como visitante y, de paso, que un triunfo le haga llegar con el ánimo redoblado a la vuelta de los octavos de la Liga Europa del jueves en Londres. Lopetegui tiene ocho bajas, siete por lesión y una por sanción. Lesionados están Suso Fernández, el neerlandés Rekik, los argentinos Lamela, Montiel y Papu Gómez y los brasileños Diego Carlos y Fernando). En el caso de los tres últimos son hombres clave para su sistema defensivo y de creación del juego. El sancionado es el centrocampista Joan Jordán. Aún así, recupera para la media al danés Thomas Delaney, que no jugó por sanción contra los ingleses, y al croata Ivan Rakitic, que sufrió una indisposición en el calentamiento de ese partido. Ambos se perfilan como titulares junto al delantero francés Anthony Martial, que reapareció el jueves, con la duda de si el lateral zurdo argentino Marcos Acuña tendrá descanso y será suplido por el sueco Ludwig Augustinsson.
