Georgia, the number one team in the nation, takes on and brutally beats Charleston Southern, in a match up in Athens Georgia. The day began at 5:30AM for the drive to Athens for a noon start against the Charleston Southern Buccaneers. The sunrise at the stadium is always beautiful. The UGA Hotel and Conference Center sits at the top of Lumpkin Street and is across from Stegeman Coliseum. Four hours before kickoff(8AM on this day!) the cheerleaders traditonally come into the hotel to do a short pep rally and meet family and friends and some tailgaiting. After that it's time for breakfast, which is a real treat. Bolton Dining Commons opened on campus in 2014 and instantly became the place to have breakfast. Everything on earth is here as a far as food goes. And three levels. Lunch and dinner are also served. The Dawg Walk is a tradition that dates back many years. Thousands show up for it. And fans get a spot as far as an hour in advance. Going in the stadium two hours before kickoff is cool because you get to socialize, meet people, do some walking around, and such. The players come out and go through pre warmups and as you see, you might see #jordandavis, who is awesome. Lewis Cine is also in the video, and he loves to meet fans and kids. The game was dominated by Georgia, and one of the biggest highlights was watching Davis get a rushing touchdown that you see here. Another tradition not seen in other videos is my trip after the game to the Blind Pig Tavern. Three locations, I go to the one on West Broad St. The food here is wonderful. Bar food, burgers, wings, etc... Hope everyone enjoys the video. GO DAWGS.

A glorious day in Athens, Georgia as THE ADVENTURE CHANNEL returns for a huge game against SEC rival Arkansas. ESPN College Gameday was on hand to broadcast live from two locations; the Myers Quad in central campus, and also at the stadium from 11am till noon. Thousands of people always show up for it and it's become a tradition to make your own signs. One of the best bbq places around was at Gameday and you will see them on the video. Tailgating is a huge part of a gameday and Athens does it right. People show up on Thursdays to begin setting up for a Saturday game. You'll see a little of it on this video. Today's game started at noon so there wasn't much time for it, but most people hang around after the game until nighttime, still tailgating. The scene was amazing as coach Kirby Smart asked fans all week to show up early and be loud. THEY DID. The stadium was practically full an hour before kickoff. It only got louder as the game approached. During the game the decibel level reached 112Db. Pro wrestler AJ Styles showed up, as he is a huge fan, and "Called The Dawgs", as you will see. He is a native of Hall County, Georgia and it was fun to speak to him before the game. Georgia dominated the game and won 37-0. Two shutouts in a row. I headed to Wild Hawgs BBQ after the game to celebrate with great food. Hope you guys enjoy the video!

The last four times my friend has come with me and we have made a day(and sometimes most of a night!) of it. On this occasion the game actually started at 11amCT, so we had to leave at 3:30am for the 250 mile trip up to Nashville. After having to stop on I-24 for a bad wreck, we got in town in plenty of time and did our walking around for the video. Dawg Walk was pretty sparsely attended as it was a road game but also took place at 8:45am. But I saw some people I knew, JT Superdawg, always a great character, and a couple of friends from Omaha that I didn't know would be there. Great to speak to them. Warm ups are always fun in this stadium because you can be up close to the team, and I got some great footage. Game itself was a blowout but Georgia are just really awesome this year. Made new friends in our section including a cool guy you will see after Bowers scores his second td. I bet him a beer that Bowers wouldn't score three, ......he did! So I had to pay up. We have a new tradition on our way home of stopping in Mufreesboro at Coconut Bay Cafe' and getting wings. They are wonderful. Hope everyone enjoys the video. GO DAWGS!

Welcome to my number one passion! September 18, 2021. GEORGIA V. SOUTH CAROLINA. My day started at 5:30am and did not end until after midnight. Early morning parking, walking, sunrise, campus tour, breakfast, Tate Center, UGA hotel and Conference Center, cheerleaders, Jim's Tree, Dawg Walk, the hedges, graves of former mascots, warm ups, Redcoat Band, kickoff, a few plays, us actually doing the wave(!!!), the very famous LIGHT UP SANFORD, Fourth Quarter, end of the game, UGA Paintline, and some final comments. It was a great game. Georgia dominated and won 40-13. The experience on campus is like no other. I attended my first game in 1981 and became a season ticket holder in 1996. Since then I've missed only three home games and also been to 23 road games. I've also established a tradition of watching the Dawg Walk at a location named for me; Jim's Tree. All are welcome here, especially kids. The University of Georgia was charted in January, 1785 and the original deed was for 40,000 acres awarded to Athens, Georgia. The football team first played on January 30, 1892 on campus against Mercer. 118 All Americans, 2 Heisman Trophies, 2 National Championships, 13 SEC championships, and 29 final top ten rankings. The team plays at Sanford Stadium. Constructed in 1929 and costing $30,000, it has since been expanded multiple times to it's current capacity of 92,726. The sightlines are the best in football as they are natural being that the original bowl was built over Tanyard Creek on campus, which still runs under the stadium. Volume levels inside can be extreme. The decibel level reached 126Db on September 20, 2019 against Notre Dame. The stadium was also host to the 1996 Olympic Games womens soccer.
