Tramon speaks with the media Tuesday afternoon about how much has happened for him within the last year. He says he's learned from his teammates throughout the season. He describes the emotions he's had the last few weeks from his buzzer-beater over Memphis and the putback to beat Rutgers in the second round. Tramon says he's received numerous congratulations from coaches, family, media, the last few days for his shot and free throw to put Houston up 61-60 over Rutgers. He says life in Indianapolis in the NCAA's "controlled environment" has not been as bad as thought it would be. Tramon discusses what's he learned from DeJon Jarreau this season. Tramon says he's glad he was able to make the winning play to beat Rutgers and keep the season going for Houston's seniors. He describes what happened on the play when he swooped in for the offensive rebound and putback.
