You must have seen this man in the Olympics, who won a silver medal without using any gear. But what was the reason behind not using any gear? This man's name is Yusuf Dikec, and he has also been a part of Turkey's military police. He was part of the 10m Air Pistol event in the Olympics and had participated in the previous four Olympics as well. In the shooting events of the Olympics, players wear visors to block the light coming from the gun, and ear protection and blinders are also used for aiming. But Yusuf Dikec did not use any of these. You see, there is no written rule in the Olympics that players must wear all this gear. And secondly, Yusuf Dikec clearly stated that he did not need this gear and all these things were just distractions for him. He only wore small earplugs, which no one even noticed. Simply, he came without wearing any gear and went on to win Turkey their first medal in Olympic shooting.
