Dalhousie Tigers captured their 6th Atlantic University Sport womens volleyball championship Saturday night with a 5 set victory over the Acadia Axemen at the Memorial campius in St John's, Newfoundland. The Tigers won the first and 3rd sets but Acadia bounced back to win the 2nd and 4th and force a 5th set. Tigers won 15-6 in 5th set. Dal's 4th year outside hitter Emma Ciprick was tournament MVP and setter Courtney Baker was Conference MVP.
