The third and final ODI was a rain-affected match, so it was reduced to 23 overs. Sri Lanka scored 156 runs after their batting, with Pathum Nissanka and Kusal Mendis scoring half-centuries. West Indies, however, showcased a brilliant fighting spirit and chased the target in 22 overs. A superb hundred from Evin Lewis and a sizzling half-century from Sherfane Rutherford took West Indies over the line. In the 2nd ODI, Sri Lanka and West Indies faced each other at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bowl first inviting the visitors to bat. Sherfane Rutherford scored 80 runs in 82 balls and Gudakesh Motie played a knock of 50 runs, while the wickets collapsed in regular intervals for West Indies and the whole team was all out for 189 runs. Hasaranga was at the peak of the bowlers from Sri Lankan side taking 4 wickets for 40 runs. Sri Lanka came into bat and won the match comfortably by 5 wickets. Charith Asalanka batted beautifully scoring 62 runs from 61 balls and won the match for his team. Sri Lanka won the 3 matches series by 2-0. . .
