Round 1 is in the books. Round 2 is on deck. The AudBalls close the book on the Saginaw series and look ahead to what's coming: the Soo Greyhounds are headed to Kitchener for Round 2 after knocking off the London Knights in five games. Sure, London losing is always a good time, but losing in five instead of seven? Couldn't have given us a little more rest? Doesn't matter now. The boys get into everything you need to know about the matchup ahead, plus Andrew has some exciting non-hockey news: he's starring in a short film called "The Butchers" dropping this week. And if you missed the post-game reactions from Round 1, they're all collected right here at the end of the episode. The Road to the Robertson rolls on. Drama in Boys U20 4x400m Relay Final! Barbados Vs Jamaica BATTLE | CARIFTA 2026
Drama in Boys U20 4x400m Relay Final! Barbados Vs Jamaica BATTLE | CARIFTA 2026

The Boys Under-20 4x400 meter relay final at CARIFTA 2026 delivered one of the most dramatic races of the entire meet… because this final had speed, pressure, a championship record, and one brutal twist at the end. In the end, Barbados came away with the gold after running a massive 3:05.49, setting a new Championship Record and finishing like a team that knew exactly how to handle the biggest moment. But this race was far from easy. Because Jamaica was right there. For much of the race, Jamaica stayed in the fight and looked like a serious threat to take over, eventually finishing with silver in 3:06.79 after pushing Barbados all the way through the closing stages. And then came the biggest shock of all… the Bahamas got disqualified. That changed everything. Because based on time, they would have run 3:07.28 and been right in the medal mix — but one relay error turned a potential podium into heartbreak. In this video, I break down: How Barbados won this race late Why Jamaica made this a real championship battle How Trinidad & Tobago grabbed bronze Why the Bahamas DQ completely changed the final And what this race says about the next generation of Caribbean quarter-milers Because in the 4x400… you don’t just need speed — you need order, composure, and a team that can close under pressure. Final Results 🥇 Barbados — 3:05.49 CR 🥈 Jamaica — 3:06.79 🥉 Trinidad & Tobago — 3:10.64 4️⃣ Grenada — 3:13.07 5️⃣ Guyana — 3:13.67 6️⃣ Saint Kitts & Nevis — 3:20.01 ❌ Bahamas — DQ (would have run 3:07.28) Drop your thoughts below 👇 Did Barbados win this race… or did the Bahamas DQ become the biggest story? The Boys U20 4x100 meter relay at CARIFTA 2026 delivered exactly what relay fans wanted — speed, pressure, baton drama, and a stacked final. After looking sharp in the prelims, Trinidad and Tobago came back even stronger in the final, dropping 39.64 to secure gold over Jamaica (39.84) and Grenada (40.18). But this race was bigger than just the final result… Because from the semis to the championship race, every team had a story: Trinidad and Tobago laid down the fastest prelim time Jamaica survived the semis and then exploded in the final Grenada stayed composed and earned bronze Bahamas looked dangerous but just missed the podium And several teams showed how much relay chemistry and baton execution matter under pressure In this video, I break down the entire journey from semis to final, including: Which teams looked strongest in the prelims Why Trinidad’s baton work won them gold How Jamaica nearly turned it around Grenada’s big bronze-medal run And what separated the podium teams from the rest Because in the 4x100… speed gets attention — but the baton wins medals. Final Results 🥇 Trinidad and Tobago – 39.64 🥈 Jamaica – 39.84 🥉 Grenada – 40.18 4️⃣ Bahamas – 40.29 5️⃣ Barbados – 40.87 6️⃣ Guyana – 40.91 Drop your thoughts below 👇 Did Trinidad win this relay… or did Jamaica leave too much for the final? But this race is far from over… The Bahamas looked solid, Grenada impressed, Barbados stayed right there, and even though Jamaica only ran 40.71, they are still one of the most dangerous teams in the field if they clean up their baton exchanges. In this video, I break down: Trinidad and Tobago’s huge statement run Why Bahamas still looks like a major gold threat Grenada and Barbados as sleeper podium teams Why Jamaica cannot be counted out And what could decide the Boys U20 4x100m relay final Because in the 4x100… speed helps — but the baton decides everything.
