This is how Team USA🇺🇸 STUNNED and de-throned the Jamaican🇯🇲 sprint queens👑 in 4x100m #shorts

Twanisha Terry sprinted vigorously in the final leg to secure a gold medal for the United States in the women's 4x100m relay at the World Athletics Championships in Oregon. Despite the Jamaican team, which included the reigning 100m and 200m champions, being favored to win, they had to settle for second place as the US team delivered an impressive victory on their home turf. Germany claimed third place, while Great Britain finished sixth after Dina Asher-Smith suffered an injury during the race. The US team had a strong start, with Melissa Jefferson running the fastest split of 11.35 in the first 100m. Rising star Abby Steiner outperformed world record holder Elaine Thompson-Herah to maintain their team's lead. When Jenna Prandini passed the baton to Terry, the US team was in a commanding position, leaving Shericka Jackson, the gold medalist in the 200m world championships, with a significant gap to close in the final leg. Although Jackson gained ground on Terry in the last 100m, it wasn't enough to catch the US team, who can now celebrate another gold medal at their home World Championships. Terry expressed her pride in delivering the sprint relay gold at the first-ever World Championships held on US soil, relishing the incredible atmosphere and support from the crowd. Steiner described the race as the most enjoyable and exhilarating of her track career so far, attributing it to the special energy of Hayward Field. Jefferson, who unexpectedly won the 100m title at this year's national championships, highlighted the surprise nature of their victory, emphasizing their team's confidence and ability to showcase their capabilities to the world.
