Captain Ian Henderson scored his 20th goal of the season as League One strugglers Rochdale set up a likely FA Cup fifth round tie at home to Spurs. Volunteers had worked round the clock to ensure Tuesday night's replay could go ahead at freezing Spotland on a heavily-sanded pitch. And they were rewarded after 53 minutes Calvin Andrew beat Jason Shackell and 33-year-old Henderson timed his run to convert the cross from six yards. Dale found the bobbly pitch a great leveller against the 2004 FA Cup finalists and also had the best chance of the first half when Andrew Cannon fired wide in the opening minute.

Great Officiating AGAIN ( who made rooney the ref) Oh & that wooden stand #NoahsArk Right thats the good stuff out o way, Great performance first half in which kachunga for me stood out for once IMO & Lolo worked his arse off for fuck all reward, but the thing which boils my piss is the total inconsistency from the officials man, well that & the lack of creativity & goals as we created absolutely fuck all today an we need a proper no 10 or palmer at full fitness cos it was plain to see he just werent at the races today, and the Everton team today was very mediocre at best ( an thats bein nice) it was like we just fell asleep at the interval and never woke up, Ince's confidence is at an all time low an its time for him to be rested IMO altho that first goal could be the making of him but he just seems afraid to shoot, id like to see two up top tbh an see how they bounce off one another, One thing is for sure an that's summat has to be done in january if we are to survive as one or two of the current crop are mebbe just not up to standard, No matter what happens tho I'm gonna enjoy this one hell of a rollercoaster ride until the bitter end, YES we are over achieving⚽⚽⚽, and YES, we are a championship team in the #PremierLeague ⚽⚽⚽ but if were seventeenth or above come may then all this is irrelevant 😛😛😛 so just enjoy it guys n gals life is tough at the top and nobody said it was gonna be easy but onto Brighton saturday in a must win game 🏐🏐🏐 #Htafc #EveHud #WeWillSurvive

Red Cards: Cody Cooke Truro City, Diak John Hungerford Town Att: 224 Although there was a glimmer of light when James Rusby came on during the second half, our injury list remains a serious problem, with no fewer than 7 players in the first team squad out of action with injuries of varying severity, and a serious set-back against high-flying City in a rather ill -tempered game. Truro had a Cody Cooke sent off in the first half whilst Diak John was also red-carded near the end, the decisive goal, an own goal off Rhys Tyler, saw us suffer a 4th successive 1-0 league defeat, although other results saw us remain in 17th place. Saturday’s visit of Billericay in the F.A. Trophy is followed by matches against Chelmsford and Dartford, a daunting prospect which will test everyone at the club. However, the spirit at the club is good and everyone is convinced that we can climb away from the danger of relegation. Cody Cooke forced his way past Darnell Smith early on, but lost control of the ball and James Clark got back to cover. Luke Hopper was well-tackled as he broke away and a header from Alex Wall was well-saved when he got on the end of a cross from Ian Herring. Cooke received a straight red card for a crunching tackle on Darnell Smith, but Ed Palmer was extremely lucky to get away with a yellow when he joined in the ensuing melee and flattened Ian Herring. The only goal of the game came when Rhys Tyler deflected a cross from Aaron Lamont past the wrong-footed Marcus Beauchamp after 38 minutes and Truro held on to their lead until half-time. With the slope in our favour, we did most of the attacking in the second half and Louie Soares was unlucky when he was unable to get a decisive touch on the ball as it bobbled about in front of the goal and Alex Wall drove a fierce free-kick against the defensive wall from the edge of the penalty area, but Tom Mchale was seldom tested in the visitors goal and when Diak John overlapped down the left in the closing minutes, there was a melee right in the corner, with players from both sides involved and when order was restored, it was John who was punished, although anyone of a number of players might have been punished. It had been another disappointing game and another narrow defeat. Diak John on the end of another Red card to level things up today against Truro City Team; Marcus Beauchamp, Rhys Tyler, Diak John, Paul Stonehouse, Darnell Smith, Anton Rogers(Richie Whittingham), James Clark, Ian Herring, Luke Hopper, Louie Soares, Alex Wall(James Rusby), Subs not used; Gabriel Silva, Gay McDonald.

Pre-Season vs Ashford United - Cugley's Thoughts
Invicta started their Pre-Season Campaign at the weekend with an away fixture against Ashford United. A tough game in very hot conditions saw Invicta fall to a 1-0 defeat. Goal Keeper French swung at thin air as he attempted to clear a bobbling pass back from the Invicta midfield, and the ball ended up in the back of the net. The scoreline didn't really reflect the game, with Invicta enjoying a majority of possession and chances but failing to make an impact in front of goal. Unlucky to be beaten by such a comical goal but despite this the teams first game back showed off some great football and very capable new faces.
