In this college football video, Big 12 Conference in the Hunt for a New Commissioner | Oklahoma & Texas Staying, I will talk about the announced retirement of Big 12 Commissioner Bob Bowlsby. I will talk about how that may tie in with recent rumors that Texas & Oklahoma are having second thoughts about joining the SEC. Does it mean Nebraska could come back to the Big 12? Does it mean the Big 12 merges with the PAC-12? I will give my answer to both of these questions in the video. #collegefootball #big12football #big12 đTo contribute to Couz's Corner:đ Venmo: https://account.venmo.com/u/CouzsCorner PayPal: https://paypal.me/couzscorner?country.x=US&locale.x=en_US CashApp: https://cash.app/$CouzsCorner Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/couzscorner BetUS Link: https://bit.ly/MarchMadnessCouzsSports Fanatics: https://fanatics.93n6tx.net/BallInWVU Amazon: https://amzn.to/3I4H9gT Couz on Twitter: https://twitter.com/couz206 This channel is dedicated to covering college football and basketball, with a big focus on the West Virginia Mountaineers. In this Texas vs West Virginia Review 2021 video, I will recap the Mountaineers' 31-23 victory over the Longhorns. I will give my thoughts on West Virginia's Senior Day; including some notable players who chose not to participate, including WVU Quarterback, Jarrett Doege. I will also give my six keys to the WVU victory, the three main reasons Texas lost, and will give both team and individual stats from the game. Texas and West Virginia both entered this game with 4-6 records with bowl eligibility on the line and hampered with injuries. The most notable injury was that of Longhorns Running Back, Bijan Robinson, who is out the remainder of the season with an elbow injury. To fill the vacancy left by Robinson, Coach Steve Sarkisian chose to use both Keilan Robinson and Roschon Johnson. Both backs had solid performances on the day, but Robinson had the best with 9 carries for 111 yards and a touchdown. Casey Thompson started the game at Quarterback for Texas, but had a rough game as West Virginia's pass defense was stingy at giving up big plays. Hudson Card started the second half for Texas and had a decent day completing 10 out of 16 passes for 123 yards and a touchdown, before leaving with an unspecified injury. Star Wide Receiver, Xavier Worthy, had 7 receptions on the day for 85 yards and one touchdown. Texas didn't have a lot of positives to talk about on the defensive side of the ball. However, Defensive Back, Anthony Cook, had 8 tackles and Linebacker, Ben Davis, had 7 tackles, including 2 tackles for loss, and a sack. West Virginia Quarterback, Jarrett Doege, had a great day throwing the ball as he completed 27 of 43 passes for 290 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. His touchdown passes were to three different receivers; Winston Wright Jr., Sam James and Sean Ryan. The biggest factor in West Virginia's win may have been Running Back, Leddie Brown's performance. Brown carried the ball 33 times for 158 yards and a touchdown. It was his fourth game of the season over 100 yards rushing, and not coincidentally, WVU has won all of those games. Defensively, the Mountaineers were led, once again, by Linebacker, Josh Chandler-Semedo, and Defensive Tackle, Dante Stills. Chandler-Semedo led all players with 12 tackles. Stills had only three tackles, but was in the Texas backfield a lot, which led to 1.5 tackles for loss and two QB hurries. Safety, Sean Mahone, had an interception for the Mountaineers. Former Kansas State broadcaster & radio host, John Kurtz, joins Couzâs Corner to discuss the college football playoff rankings and the West Virginia vs. Kansas State college football game coming up on Saturday, November 12, 2021. John and I will break down the game and give the keys to victory for our respective teams. The West Virginia Mountaineers take their 4-5 record on the road to Manhattan, KS to take on the 6-3 Kansas State Wildcats in a Big 12 conference matchup. Both teams have been up & down, with WVU coming off a 24-3 loss to Oklahoma St. at home and K-State coming off a dominating 35-10 win over in state rival, the Kansas Jayhawks. Kansas State Running Back Deuce Vaughn is one of the most explosive players in the Big 12. He is 11th in the country in All Purpose yards with an average of 143 per game. He averages 5.6 yards per carry in the rushing game and is also the Wildcat's leading receiver with 411 yards. Kansas State's defense is anchored by Defensive End, Felix Anudike-Uzomah, who leads the nation with 11 sacks. WVUâs offense has struggled for much of the season, but when given time, Quarterback Jarrett Doege, who is the Big 12âs leading passer at 2,180 yards, can pick teams apart. The key performer for the Mountaineers offense, however, will be Running Back, Leddie Brown. WVU doesnât lose when Brown rushes for over 100 yards. The Mountaineer defense is anchored by their Defensive Line, led by Defensive Tackle, Dante Stills. The second leading tackler in the Big 12, Linebacker Josh Chandler-Semedo, will also be an important factor in this game. #wvu #kstate #big12football #mountaineers #wildcats #emaw #letsgo John Kurtz YouTube: https://youtube.com/channel/UCYKMXVCgo3h9fK5BtxDIorg Follow Couz on Twitter: https://twitter.com/couz206/status/1457824659832033283?s=21 Click this: https://youtube.com/c/CouzsCornerSports This channel is dedicated to covering college football and basketball, with a big focus on the West Virginia Mountaineers.
