Former Kansas State broadcaster & radio host, John Kurtz, joins Couz’s Corner to discuss the college football playoff rankings and the West Virginia vs. Kansas State college football game coming up on Saturday, November 12, 2021. John and I will break down the game and give the keys to victory for our respective teams. The West Virginia Mountaineers take their 4-5 record on the road to Manhattan, KS to take on the 6-3 Kansas State Wildcats in a Big 12 conference matchup. Both teams have been up & down, with WVU coming off a 24-3 loss to Oklahoma St. at home and K-State coming off a dominating 35-10 win over in state rival, the Kansas Jayhawks. Kansas State Running Back Deuce Vaughn is one of the most explosive players in the Big 12. He is 11th in the country in All Purpose yards with an average of 143 per game. He averages 5.6 yards per carry in the rushing game and is also the Wildcat's leading receiver with 411 yards. Kansas State's defense is anchored by Defensive End, Felix Anudike-Uzomah, who leads the nation with 11 sacks. WVU’s offense has struggled for much of the season, but when given time, Quarterback Jarrett Doege, who is the Big 12’s leading passer at 2,180 yards, can pick teams apart. The key performer for the Mountaineers offense, however, will be Running Back, Leddie Brown. WVU doesn’t lose when Brown rushes for over 100 yards. The Mountaineer defense is anchored by their Defensive Line, led by Defensive Tackle, Dante Stills. The second leading tackler in the Big 12, Linebacker Josh Chandler-Semedo, will also be an important factor in this game. #wvu #kstate #big12football #mountaineers #wildcats #emaw #letsgo John Kurtz YouTube: https://youtube.com/channel/UCYKMXVCgo3h9fK5BtxDIorg Follow Couz on Twitter: https://twitter.com/couz206/status/1457824659832033283?s=21 Click this: https://youtube.com/c/CouzsCornerSports This channel is dedicated to covering college football and basketball, with a big focus on the West Virginia Mountaineers.
