Happy New Year ins Niner Empire! „The Last Dance“ steht für die San Francisco 49ers am Sonntag gegen die Seattle Seahawks mit Russell Wilson zum Abschluss der Regular Season 2020 auf dem Programm. Erneut trifft das Team von Head Coach Kyle Shanahan zahlreiche Ausfälle: Brandon Aiyuk, Trent Williams, Richard Sherman, Jordan Willis… Für die Seahawks geht es im besten Fall noch um den 1st Seed in der NFC, während die 49ers voll im Evaluierungsmodus sind. LETZTES AUFGEBOT ZUM LETZTEN TANZ DER SAISON Auch nach den Weihnachtsfeiertagen setzt sich die „Seuchensaison“ bei den San Francisco 49ers fort. Nun hatte man schon zu Saisonbeginn das Problem, dass man auf seine besten Wide Receiver verzichten musste, verlagerten sich die Schwierigkeiten ins Defensive Backfield, auf Quartback über die Running Backs um nun wieder zum Ausgangspunkt zurückzukehren. Den 49ers werden zum Saisonfinale gegen die Seattle Seahawks auf Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk und auch Trent Taylor, der immer noch auf der Reserve/COVID-19 List steht, verzichten müssen. Als Wide Receiver stehen dann nur noch Kendrick Bourne, Richie James, River Cracraft und von der Practice Squad Jordan Matthews sowie Kevin White zur Verfügung. Einen Dominoeffekt könnte der verletzungsbedingte Ausfall von Left Tackle Trent Williams nach sich ziehen. Swing Tackle Justin Skule startete zuletzt auf Right Guard und laboriert selber ab einer Knieverletzung. Dagegen können die Gäste aus dem Bundesstaat Washington mehr oder weniger aus dem Vollen schöpfen. Außerdem haben die Seahawks, die in der vergangenen Woche ihren ersten Sieg in der NFC West seit der Saison 2016 perfekt gemacht haben, kurz vor der Postseason eine gute Balance zwischen Offense und Defense hergestellt. Zumindest ein Cowboys Team, welches sich in den vergangenen drei, vier Wochen stabilisiert hat und gerade mit den Offensiven Waffen Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, CeeDee Lamb und Ezekiel Elliott nicht zu unterschätzen ist. Andi Dalton gehört seit Week 10 zu den besten Quarterbacks in Sachen Release Time. Das dürfte es dem Pass Rush der 49ers schwermachen. Talking about the San Francisco 49ers and all the bad luck they have endured this season. From all the injuries not just to the starters, but also their depth and now positive tests (Kendrick Bourne is the one with Brandon Aiyuk and Trent Williams close contact). They have been snake bitten for whatever reason. They have to see what's up with the injuries next offseason. Also got a game against the Green Bay Packers.
