Marcus Rashford’s ‘talking gesture’ goal celebration explained
SUBSCRIBE CHANNEL: https://bit.ly/Football_News_Center ----------------- Marcus Rashford, Manchester United forward, celebrated his goal against Tottenham Hotspur with a different gesture than his usual trademark celebration. Rashford confirmed that his "talking" gesture celebration was a response to criticism he received for commenting on Jadon Sancho's Instagram post about his loan move to Borussia Dortmund. Some perceived Rashford's comment as disloyalty to United. The celebration was a way for Rashford to address the abuse he had received, including questions about his loyalty and commitment to the club. Rashford's performances have also faced criticism, with former United captain Roy Keane saying he wants to see more from him. This is not the first unique celebration by Rashford. In 2022, he started celebrating his goals with a routine that included pointing his index finger to his temple. The exact meaning of this celebration has been kept secret, but it is believed to be about shutting out external noise and finding a new focus.
