Three goals in eight minutes at the start of the second half turned the game in Tottenham Hotspur’s favour as Brentford fell to a narrow defeat in north London. The Bees led at the interval thanks to Neal Maupay’s scrambled finish, but Spurs’ Destiny Udogie, Brennan Johnson and Richarlison all struck in a frantic period after the break. Ivan Toney pulled one back following Udogie’s misjudged backpass, but the Bees couldn’t find an equaliser during the closing stages. #premierleague #brentfordfc #highlights #brentford Click the like and subscribe buttons if you would like to see more! Everton were forced to settle for a point after an action-packed encounter at Fulham somehow ended goalless. Strong claims for an Everton penalty were waved away midway through the first half after the ball struck former Blues youngster Antonee Robinson on the hand, before Arnaut Danjuma spurned an excellent chance after an impressive solo run. Dominic Calvert-Lewin struck the crossbar with a headed effort early in the second half but Marco Silva's side dominated large parts of the second period, hitting the woodwork themselves through Timothy Castagne's header. Ben Godfrey produced a superb passage of recovery defending to deny Willian, while Jordan Pickford pulled off an excellent save to keep out another headed effort from Tosin. But Everton weathered the storm and almost pinched all three points in second-half stoppage time, as Beto headed over from two-yards out before Godfrey's late effort caused a goal-line scramble in the dying seconds. Support by buying my NBA T-Shirts: https://heatcheck.info/ Last night was insane. First we witnessed the tragic downfall of Golden State. Then we saw possibly the dumbest move of the season by the Brooklyn Nets and a bunch of other crazy moments. But first check this out. This reaction by the rookie GG Jackson is priceless. He was genuinely surprised and happy to be talking to the TNT crew. And boy he deserved the spotlight. The 45th pick in the draft destroyed the Warriors with his three point shooting on the way to a career high 23 points off the bench. But this is the thing that will shock you. Despite getting Draymond Green back, Golden State lost to this starting lineup. Jaren Jackson, Vince Williams, Xavier Tilman, Zaire Williams and Luke Kennard. Wait what?! Memphis is currently running an entire hospital with how many guys they have injured, and the Grizzlies still managed to embarrass the sinking ship of the Warriors. Losing to this team is so bad that it might have been the final nail in the coffin for Golden State. I believe that a big trade is coming for them, and honestly, if your name is not Steph, you may get traded. Moving on to Jacque Vaugn who made a decision so inexplicable that it cost Brooklyn the game. The Heat and the Nets played an intense overtime thriller. And with under a minute to go, the home team had a 4 point lead. Getting this stop would pretty much win it for them, but Tyler Herro saves the game and gives Miami hope. And with Brooklyn unable to score, the Heat all of a sudden have a chance for the lead in the final seconds. So you know who’s got the ball. Now this is the key moment of the game. On the replay you can see that this was a really clean swipe so Jacque Vaugn could have challenged it. But he didn’t want to burn his final time out, and saved it for the final possession. Which is a valid point, and I totally understand. Draw up a nice play and try to win the game. But then Butler makes both free throws and he doesn’t call the time out. He just lets the guys play it out. So of course scrambling without a plan, we got a terrible final possession and they lose the game. I was shocked by this. If you knew that you were going to let them play it out, why not take the challenge then? Why in the world did you save the time out for? Unbelievable. Ok, speaking of unbelievable, Joel Embiid is doing something that’s really out of this world. Last night he scored 41 points in a win against the Rockets and this is how the numbers are looking right now for him. 976 total points so far in 953 minutes on the court. Yeah, this dude is averaging more points than minutes this season which is staggering, and we have never seen something like this in the modern NBA. Now, I gotta phrase it like that because of course the freak of nature that Wilt Chamberlain was, he did it back in his day. But still, Joel is on a rampage right now and it seems that nobody can stop him. Let me fire up a war in the comments by asking you guys who’s your MVP so far. Things are just now heating up because this is possibly my favorite thing from last night. Detroit won another game, let’s gooo. These 2 teams have been beyond horrible this year, but fortunately for them somebody had to win this game and it just so happened to be the Pistons. All credit to Jalen Duren for his monster game of 20 points and 19 rebounds on a perfect 8 for 8 from the field. Absolutely incredible numbers. Now the bad thing is that this is still the worst record in NBA history percentage wise, so if Detroit wants to avoid this infamous title, they’ll need to get hot and win a few more games in the second half of the season. Speaking of that, Dallas got hot at the perfect moment. Down by 7 in the 4th, the Mavs went on a 21-9 run led by Tim Hardaway Jr. This completely turned things around and with a 2 point lead in the final seconds, Dallas had an interesting strategy of intentionally fouling Zion. This worked for them as Zion missed 1 free throw and on the other end Kyrie converted both to give his team a 3 point lead. Funny enough, Dallas didn’t foul on the final possession so the Pelicans ended up with a 3 point look and a chance to tie the game. Both Kyrie and Tim Hardaway Jr had 40 in this win for the Mavs and shoutout to Jr for the great season he’s having, coming off the bench. San Antonio almost did the unthinkable against Atlanta. The Hawks raced off to a 35 point lead at home against Wemby and the Spurs, but then something crazy started to happen… After going scoreless in the first half, Victor went ballistic in the second half scoring 26 points, where he looked unstoppable and the Spurs came all the way back to make it only a 6 point game. This was on the road mind you. The entire arena was stunned. Unfortunately they didn’t have enough to complete the comeback but I love the fight from them, despite the loss.

Leandro Trossard scored our 1,000th goal at Emirates Stadium, before William Saliba and Alex Zinchenko added second-half to earn all three points against Burnley. Trossard went in bravely at the far post to break the deadlock at the end of the first half, and although the visitors briefly drew level through a deflected Josh Brownhill effort, we deservedly wrapped up the points thanks to our prowess at set-pieces. Saliba headed home Trossard’s corner, before Zinchenko acrobatically scored our third, when another dangerous corner wasn’t fully cleared. We finished the game with ten men after Fabio Vieira was shown a straight red card for a dangerous challenge on Brownhill, but we saw out time comfortably to extend our unbeaten home run and move up to second place. After a moving rendition of The Last Post, and reading of Ode of Remembrance, we got play under way on a sunny, autumnal afternoon in north London. Gabriel headed over a corner early on, but the first effort on target came from the hosts – Zeki Amdouni’s long range effort was turned behind by David Raya. We first made James Trafford work when Bukayo Saka was alive to a loose ball in the box, and lashed a right-footed shot first time towards the top corner, but the young Burnley keeper pushed the shot onto the bar and away. We were beginning to warm to our task, and create more chances. The twinkle-toed Alex Zinchenko set up Saka inside the area and his low cross was scrambled away, before Saka was penalised for a shove in the box when Jordan Beyer’s header looked to be lopping into his own goal. Burnley were soaking up the pressure, but served warning of their goal threat when Johann Gudmundsson drew a good low save from Raya when he broke through centrally. Trossard was next to try his luck for us. Declan Rice snapped into a challenge in midfield to win the ball and release Kai Havertz. He found the Belgian on the edge of the box, and his dipping effort was tipped over. As the seconds ticked away to half-time, we finally made the breakthrough. Saka won another dangerous cross into the box from Zinchenko, and headed towards Trossard at the far post. The Belgian kept his eye on the ball despite being challenged by Trafford, to nod home from close range. As he received treatment on the floor, the Emirates faithful celebrated the 1,000th goal we’ve scored at the stadium since moving here in 2006. More significantly, it put us ahead after a patient first-half performance. But the lead was erased early in the second half. The lively Luca Koleosho got the better of Takehiro Tomiyasu on the left, caused confusion with his cross, and Josh Brownhill saw his shot beat Raya with the aid of a deflection from Gabriel. We responded instantly. Gabriel Martinelli streaked away on the left and fired his shot at Trafford at the near post. From the resulting corner from Trossard, Saliba got in front of the keeper to thud home a header at close range. Rice fired just wide from 25 yards before we finally secured a two-goal cushion. Trossard’s corners had been coughing problems all afternoon, and another delivered into a dangerous area bounced against the bar off a Burnley defender, before falling to Zinchenko, who improvised brilliantly to volley into the top corner. It was a lovely finish. Just like Saliba’s, it was the Ukrainian’s first goal at the Emirates. It gave us some breathing room, but our task was made more difficult again when substitute Vieira was sent off for a studs high challenge on Brownhill. Down to ten men, we had more defending to do in the closing stages, but we saw out the remaining ten minutes or so with little cause for alarm, and in fact finished with nine, when Jorginho was taken off with a head injury deep into stoppage time. #arsenal Enjoy match highlights, training and behind the scenes to get closer to the likes of Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard, Emile Smith Rowe, Vivianne Miedema, Gabriel Jesus, Alex Zinchenko, Leah Williamson, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Kim Little, Gabriel Martinelli, Aaron Ramsdale, Beth Mead, Ben White and more.
