Robert Doornbos juicht voor Nyck de Vries: “Hij reed Latifi echt zoek”
Nyck de Vries heeft afgelopen weekend tijdens de GP van Italië een goede indruk achtergelaten. De Friese coureur scoorde in zijn debuutrace in Monza meteen punten voor het team van Williams en kreeg vanuit alle hoeken van de paddock lof voor zijn aanpak. Ziggo Sport F1-analist Robert Doornbos zat juichend op de bank te kijken hoe De Vries zijn gelegenheidsteamgenoot Nicholas Latifi helemaal zoek reed. 2022 Italian Grand Prix: F1 race analysis
Sections of the crowd at Monza actually booed Max Verstappen after he had won the 2002 Italian Grand Prix. Partly that was because they had wanted to see a race to the flag (the GP actually finished behind a Safety Car) but mainly it was because they had wanted to see a Ferrari victory. In this video Peter Windsor addresses this issue of concern - and also offers his explanation as to why Max and the Red Bull RB18 were again so dominant - why they were not sucked-in by Charles Leclerc's relatively early switch to medium tyres and would thereafter control the race with a significant tyre-life (and overall pace) advantage. Hemos tenido un finde completito en el Gran Premio de los Países Bajos (que no Holanda) 2022 de Fórmula 1. Entre algunos cafres disfrazados de fans dando la nota en la clasificación con las bengalas, entre la dirección de carrera que todavía no ha encontrado el botón de Safety Car, entre las paradas en boxes que duran milenios y las teorías conspiranoicas por el abandono del AlphaTauri de Yuki Tsunoda... nos hemos olvidado de que ha ganado Max Verstappen y ha ampliado, todavía más, la distancia en el Mundial. El neerlandés dominó, pero su victoria peligró ante la brillante estrategia del equipo Mercedes, que se autodestruyó en el momento que salió el VSC y el SC y dejó vendido a un Lewis Hamilton que vio como George Russell le adelantaba por estrategia. Carlos Sainz vio como su carrera se iba al garete, una vez más, por la gran maña del equipo Ferrari, y Fernando Alonso encabezó la zona media con una remontada tremenda en un circuito como este.
