Championship Cup Quarterfinal Highlights. Ealing Trailfinders 36 17 Jersey Reds
Championship Cup Quarterfinal Highlights. Ealing Trailfinders 36 17 Jersey Reds

The Reds suffered a third defeat of the season to Ealing Trailfinders, who remain on course for a hat-trick of cup titles after an eventually comfortable win in the Championship Cup quarter-final at Vallis Way. The home side struck early when a Craig Willis kick bounced cruelly for the Reds, but kindly for Peter Lydon, who touched down. A conversion and subsequent penalty by Willis made it 10-0 before the Reds had settled. The remainder of the first half was more attritional, with the only other score being an intercept by Alex Morgan for the Reds. There were further chances from both sides, notably from attacking lineouts, but these came to nothing. An early yellow card after the resumption for Rodney Iona for a high tackle had a significant impact. Trailfinders scored twive in his absence: Harry Sloan in the corner after Nathan Fowles took a quickly-tapped penalty, and then Reon Joseph picked up a loose ball near halfway, kicked ahead and chased at pace to claim the touch-down. The visitors went back to 15 men after Iona’s sin-bin period ended, Aaron Penberthy replacing the Samoan at this point, but the wave of points continued with Fowles finding Rayn Smid to power over by the posts. The Reds rallied in the closing stages with tries from Auguy Slowik – a 90-metre intercept – and TJ Harris from a close-range penalty. But Lydon had the last word, crossing for his side’s fifth try in the final play. Director of Rugby Harvey Biljon said: “I don’t think the scoreline was a fair reflection on the game. We gave ourselves opportunities but there were two or three big moments – a lapse of concentration and they score, then a yellow card and they scored two tries in that time, then a dropped ball and they score again. If you took those errors away then suddenly we are in a real game. “You can see the power of Ealing and the quality of players they have, but we made them earn their scores. “Reece Marshall [new loan signing] had two training sessions, so I thought he did pretty well – there were one or two moments at the set-piece, but we also saw his ability to contribute in open play.”

Arteta's Early Tactics at Arsenal [Analysis]
Arteta's Early Tactics at Arsenal [Analysis]

Mikel Arteta's tactics. Even though the Spaniard has only managed Arsenal for 4 matches, the tactical shift in the club is already clear to see. In this video, I analyse how he is setting Arsenal up and the similarities between his management style and Pep Guardiola's ► SUBSCRIBE for more football videos: http://tiny.cc/a7pigz After the following scorelines under Arteta: Bournemouth 1 - 1 Arsenal Arsenal 1 - 2 Chelsea Arsenal 2 - 0 Manchester United Arsenal 1 - 0 Leeds United It is understandable why some have looked at these and concluded that 2 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss is not an incredible start to the Spaniard's reign. However, what these scorelines don't show is Arteta's tactics. Arteta has taken inspiration from his time working with one of football's greatest pioneers in Pep Guardiola and the similarities between Arsenal and Manchester City are already beginning to form. ATK vs Jamshedpur FC 3 - 1 (9/11/2019) Roy Krishna, E Garcia, S Castel Goals,Highlights ISL 2019 The Fijian international converted two penalties and provided the assist for the third goal as ATK climb to the top of the table... ATK beat Jamshedpur FC 3-1 in their fourth Indian Super League (ISL) season six clash on Saturday at the Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata Roy Krishna scored a brace (57', 71') and Edu Garcia (90+4') was on target to seal full points for the hosts. Sergio Castel scored the consolation goal for Jamshedpur (85'). Antonio Lopez Habas made a single change to the line-up that edged Chennaiyin FC in their previous match with Pronay Halder making way for Jayesh Rane at the centre of the park. Whereas, Jamshedpur FC's head coach Antonio Iriondo reinstated Keegan Pereira and Issac Vanmalsawma to the starting XI resting Bikash Jairu and Aniket Jadhav. It was a fast start to the match and the Men of Steel could have drawn first blood as early as the eighth minute when Piti outfoxed Rane on the left flank and delivered an inch-perfect cross to Farukh Choudhary at the far post. The India international timed his jump to perfection but his header struck the crossbar and went out of play. ATK upped their ante after the first 15 minutes and started raiding Jamshedpur's fort through the two wide wing-backs Michael Soosairaj and Prabir Das. They combined well in the attacking third with David Williams and Roy Krishna but Jamshedpur's backline led by Tiri and Memo defended resolutely to thwart ATK's attempts. Aitor Monroy brought down Javi Hernandez with a body shove in the 40th minute inside the penalty box but the referee was not convinced enough to award a penalty to the home side. Within a minute ATK once again came close to scoring when Rane dribbled past a couple of blue shirts and chose to shoot from distance but his piledriver was whiskers away of the post. Both the teams headed for the tunnel with the scoreline unchanged. After resumption, ATK did not have to wait longer to take the lead. In the 55th minute, Habas' front two Krishna and Williams played a brilliant give-and-go between them to split open Jamshedpur's defence. Tiri lunged in with a last-ditch tackle inside the box to stop the Fijian from shooting and this time referee Rahul Kumar Gupta pointed straight to the spot. The former Wellington Phoenix striker sent Subrata Paul the wrong way to open the scoring. Tiri and Memo struggled to contain the striker and the latter brought him down once again inside the box to concede another penalty. Krishna delivered the goods from 12 yards for the second time and handed ATK an insurance goal in the 71st minute. In the 82nd minute, Jamshedpur earned a penalty at the other end when Anas struck his elbow to stop Castel inside the box and the latter pulled one back from the spot to rekindle Iriondo's hopes. Jamshedpur started pouring men forward in search of an equaliser which opened gaps at the back and ATK capitalised with a quick counter attack. Williams initiated the move with a diagonal ball towards Krishna. Subsequently, the 32-year old's brilliant first touch set up Edu Garcia and the Spaniard chipped the ball over Paul's head to score ATK's third of the night. After handing Jamshedpur their first defeat of the season, ATK go top of the pile with nine points from four matches. The Red and Whites will return to action after the international break on November 24 against Odisha FC away from home. ••••••• SOCIAL MEDIA ••••••••• ➡️ Facebook:- https://www.facebook.com/iamnirbhayjain ➡️ Instagram:- https://www.instagram.com/iamnirbhayjain If you're a company interested in working with me, or collaborating on a video, feel free to email me at nirbhayjain00786@gmail.com •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• *Hit The Bell Icon To Get My Video Notifications* *Tell me how you liked the video or if you want any kind of particular video in the comments below* *SUBSCRIBE* #isl2019 #ATK #JamshedpurFC

Kerala Blasters vs Odisha FC 0 - 0 (8/11/2019) Goals,Highlights ISL 2019 Kerala Blasters FC and Odisha FC share the spoints in a snoozefest. An injury-laden game saw the two teams play out a pallid 0-0 draw Kerala Blasters' win-less run stretched to three games after they were held to a 0-0 draw by Odisha FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. A penalty decision that went against the hosts was the talking point of the game. The hosts named star man Bartholomew Ogbeche on the bench and Raphael Messi was handed the opportunity to lead the line. They were further forced into two substitutions in the first half, as Jairo Rodriguez and Messi Bouli were taken off the field due to injuries. The visitors too had their share of injury concerns. Aridane Santana was forced to be substituted off in the first half after a collision with Messi. The injury-laden first half lacked free-flowing football and despite their marginal dominance, Kerala were unable to cause any sort of problem for the Odisha defence. The first exciting bit of play in the game arrived in the 35th minute when India international Samad Sahal danced past three opposition players before being brought down in the box by Narayan Das. However, the referee waved play on, as a horrified Eelco Schattorie looked on in disbelief from the side-line. The second half began exactly like the first concluded – passive football and purposeless possession spiced with the occasional half-chance rendered null by poor play in the final third. However, Odisha were inches away from scoring in the 58th minute. Jerry Mawihmingthanga, who was unusually quiet throughout provided an inch-perfect cross to the far post for Nandha to hit first time. But the winger was unable to direct his shot towards goal and rattled the side-netting with his effort. Kerala were handed a chance to walk away with a late winner in injury time. Prasanth whipped in a cross into the centre of the box for Ogbeche to head towards goal. But the marksman did well to cushion it to an unmarked Rahul who pulled the trigger. But Francisco Dorronsoro reacted in time to block the shot and keep his clean-sheet. There will be more than mere discussions about the penalty that should have gone Kerala’s way but the scoreline otherwise reflects the game perfectly. ••••••• SOCIAL MEDIA ••••••••• ➡️ Facebook:- https://www.facebook.com/iamnirbhayjain ➡️ Instagram:- https://www.instagram.com/iamnirbhayjain If you're a company interested in working with me, or collaborating on a video, feel free to email me at nirbhayjain00786@gmail.com •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• *Hit The Bell Icon To Get My Video Notifications* *Tell me how you liked the video or if you want any kind of particular video in the comments below* *SUBSCRIBE* #isl2019 #KeralaBlasters #OdishaFC

Gor Mahia vs Motema Pembe 1-1 | Caf Confederation Cup | Goals & Highlights (27.10.2019). Ten-man Gor Mahia were held to a 1-1 draw by Congolese side DC Motema Pembe in the first leg of the Total CAF Confederation Cup play-off round at the Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi on Sunday evening. The home side will have their goalkeeper David Mapigano to thank after he saved a second half penalty that would have seen them lose 2-1 on home soil and see their campaign thrown in tatters. “I think the scoreline is not a fair reflection of the match because we had good chances to score. I am gutted for the players because they worked so hard and should have had a better result from this game. We had three or four good situations that we should have utilized,” Gor’s tactician Steve Polack said. His opposite number Isaac Ngata said; “We gifted them a goal after some poor defending and lack of concentration but I love how we responded. At least now we know how they play and we know what to do to win when we go back home.” Gor Mahia Defender Charles Momanyi was shown a straight red card after handling a goal bound effort on the line. Motema Pembe forward Vinny Bangonga Kombe stepped up for the spot kick but saw his effort well saved by a fully stretched Mapigano. With the scores at 1-1, Motema Pembe had broken away on the counter with Misoko Amale swinging in a beauty of a cross from the right finding Junior Mbele unmarked. The forward’s first header was well saved by Mapigano with the rebound being cleared off the line by Momanyi’s hand. William Likuta Luezi had drawn Motema Pembe level, cancelling out substitute Gnamin Yikpe’s early second half goal. Luezi reacted quickest to a rebound after Mapigano had done well to save a Junior Kone Abou freekick from range. Gor had broken the deadlock in the 63rd minute when Ivorian Yikpe who had spent barely five minutes in the pitch poked Kenneth Muguna’s pass over the advancing keeper for his first goal in the competition. Earlier in the opening half, the visitors had good chances to score. Herritier Ngouelou had two chances, his first effort from the left going over while his second after cutting in was saved beautifully by Mapigano. A minute later, Mukoro Amale had a rasping shot come off the bar. Two minutes to the break Gor had a golden chance when both Boniface Omondi and Nicholas Kipkurui failed to convert a cross from Dickson Ambundo with a gaping goalmouth. It was a more balanced affair in the second half. Just after they had equalized, Motema Pembe came close when Likuta rounded the keeper who had come off his line but his shot was cleared off the line by Geoffrey Ochieng. Caf Confederation Cup Play-Offs: South Africa’s Bidvest Wits and Egyptian debutants Pyramids FC earned precious identical 2-1 away victories in the first leg ties of their Total CAF Confederation Cup play-off round matches in Maputo and Mwanza respectively. In Maputo, homers UD Songo had fought from a goal down to draw level, but they could not stop the fighting spirit of the Clever Boys who scored a 60th minute winner through Sameehg Doutie. The South African outfit had gone ahead through Deon Hotto, but Songo fought back to draw level through Stelio Telinho Ernesto in the 34th minute. The two head into the return leg in Johannesburg next weekend with Bidvest only requiring a draw to book a slot in the group stages of the Confederation Cup.
