Penn State football landed a major 2027 recruiting commitment with four-star running back Aiden Gibson, giving the Nittany Lions a complete back with power, contact balance, receiving ability, and long-term upside in the Penn State backfield. On today’s Locked On Nittany Lions, Zach breaks down what Gibson brings to Penn State, why he fits the future running back room, and why Chukwuma Odoh could be another important 2027 running back target to watch. The episode also dives into Penn State’s quarterback recruiting picture with Will Wood and Peter Bourque, plus where the 2027 class stands with key names like Keyshawn Telfair, Stanley Montgomery, Cooper Terwilliger, and Landon Blum. This matters because Penn State’s 2027 class is starting to take shape at premium positions. Running back momentum is building, the quarterback decision is coming, and the Nittany Lions still have important needs to fill across the roster.
