Play-in hopes STILL alive | Maccabi - Efes | R35 BASKETBALL HIGHLIGHTS 2025-26

Play-in hopes STILL alive | Maccabi - Efes | R35 BASKETBALL HIGHLIGHTS 2025-26 Maccabi made it four straight wins to maintain its push for the postseason, overcoming injury-depleted Efes 103-89 in Belgrade. Efes made a fast start as Brice Dessert scored 8 early points for a double-digit margin, 9-19, but Maccabi soon bounced back to lead, 49-44, at halftime. The hosts broke the game open with a 13-1 run in a third quarter featuring a trio of three-pointers from Lonnie Walker, and Efes never seriously threatened to mount a comeback after that. Walker topped the scoring with 25 points, while Jaylen Hoard impressed with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Jimmy Clark controlled the offense with 17 points and 8 assists, Roman Sorkin scored 13 and Tamir Blatt added 12 on a night when Maccabi made 15 of its 23 three-point shots. Efes was paced by 17 points from Jordan Loyd, with Dessert adding a career-high 16. Maccabi improves to 18-16 after winning eight of its last nine games, while Efes drops to 10-25 following a fourth consecutive defeat.
