The first major fallout from Haas F1's split with Nikita Mazepin
The Haas Formula 1 team has named a temporary substitute for ousted driver Nikita Mazepin but the fallout from that split is only just getting started. Haas has terminated its contracts with Russian driver Mazepin and former title sponsor Uralkali in the wake of Russian president Vladimir Putinâs war on Ukraine. Reserve driver Pietro Fittipaldi will take part in the final pre-season test in Bahrain this week, but the team still needs to decide who will take the seat for the rest of the 2022 season.
