#10 Kentucky vs Richmond When: 1:00 PM (ET) Channel: ESPN Stream Starting: 12:55 PM (ET) ______________________________________________________________________________________ Join us in watching / reacting to todays match-up between our #10 ranked Kentucky Wildcats & the pre-season A10 conference favorites Richmond Spiders. UK looked very talented & much sharper than I expected them to look in their season opening win over Morehead State (81-45). To no ones surprise BJ Boston Jr & Terrence Clark looked like studs in that opener, as BJ led the Cats in scoring with 15 points & Terrence had a very impressive stat line as well. Honestly everyone showed some amazing talent & ability that showed us that we could very realistically be a 10-11 player deep team. Davion Mintz, Devin Askew, Cam'Ron Fletcher, Dontaie Allen, Olivier Sarr, & Isaiah Jackson all looked super impressive as well! While Lance Ware & Jacob Toppin looked a little nervous at times / looking for themselves out there, they did some very good things also! UK will probably be without sophomore forward Keion Brooks Jr., but should hopefully be getting him back for Tuesday nights monster match-up with Kansas! Kentucky sits at 1-0 on the season & Richmond sits at 1-0 on the season as well. Let's fight & pull out this tough victory today against a very senior-heavy team in Richmond! ______________________________________________________________________________________ INJURY REPORT: -Keion Brooks Jr. is supposedly going to be out the first week of the season to help give a little more time to heal the injury that he has been dealing with. I would expect KBJ to return for the Kansas game next Tuesday! ______________________________________________________________________________________ #BBN #KentuckyBasketball #Richmond

Paul George: Winning a title 'most important thing' in free agency decision agency, decision, thing, love, important, city, george, jersey, play, opportunity, thunder, contract, title, paul, kobe, im, free, winning https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCd4_4MPV20qVj80Rm_cQHOw?sub_confirmation=1 Paul George has reportedly told the Oklahoma City Thunder he is opting out of his contract and will be an unrestricted free agent. To George, the pursuit of a championship opportunity is the driving focus in whatever choice he makes. And in expressing this in the second of his three-part ESPN special, George doesn't seem to rule out a return to the Thunder -- or perhaps a move back to his hometown Los Angeles Lakers. "I'm going to get paid what I deserve off of what I bring to the table," George said. "That's not my concern. The most important thing is winning a championship." George opens up talking about his love for Los Angeles, the Lakers and former star Kobe Bryant drove him to succeed as a basketball player. “I love LA.This is home.I grew up watching Kobe," George said."When I first fell in love with the game and I’m outside playing in front of the house, I’m not picturing myself in an Indiana jersey or picturing myself in a Thunder jersey, I picture myself in a Lakers jersey. Everyone in the league would say that they would love to go back home and play for their city. It’s just something about representing home.In addition, he talks about entering free agency as a milestone moment of sorts in his career. "This is what you play for in your career is this opportunity .to ultimately pick where you want to go play at," George said. George's agent, Aaron Mintz, features prominently in the episode and explains George's various contract options, including how re-signing with Oklahoma City would give George significantly more money than any other team can offer. Paul George Conflicted Between L.A. and OKC in Free Agency.Paul George says he’s conflicted between choosing the Lakers and Thunder during his free agency this summer. George tells Dwyane Wade he always dreamed of wearing the Lakers’ Purple and Gold, but at the same time, he feels good about continuing to go to war with Russell Westbrook in OKC. The 28-year-old superstar can ink either a short-term deal with OKC or sign a five-year max contract paying him roughly $176 million. Per The Oklahoman (via PG’s ESPN series “Paul George: My Journey”):.“I want to be a champion,” George told Wade as the two sipped wine in Los Angeles. “In a way, it’s like, I want to come here, I want to play for the home team and put a Laker jersey on. That’s always gonna be something that I want to fulfill. But at the same time, it’s like, what’s the best move, though? I know who I am as a player. I just want to help the team win. And I feel comfortable doing so with Russ (Westbrook). ”.George listed other possibilities — Boston and the Clippers — but the seven-minute episode focused largely on his love for the Lakers and the pursuit by the Thunder to keep him in Oklahoma City. “When I first fell in love with the game and I’m outside playing in front of the house, I’m not picturing myself in an Indiana jersey or picturing myself in a Thunder jersey,” said George, who played his first seven seasons for the Pacers
