UK looked very talented & much sharper than I expected them to look in their season opening win over Morehead State (81-45). To no ones surprise BJ Boston Jr & Terrence Clark looked like studs in that opener, as BJ led the Cats in scoring with 15 points & Terrence had a very impressive stat line as well. Honestly everyone showed some amazing talent & ability that showed us that we could very realistically be a 10-11 player deep team. Davion Mintz, Devin Askew, Cam'Ron Fletcher, Dontaie Allen, Olivier Sarr, & Isaiah Jackson all looked super impressive as well! While Lance Ware & Jacob Toppin looked a little nervous at times / looking for themselves out there, they did some very good things also! UK will probably be without sophomore forward Keion Brooks Jr., but should hopefully be getting him back for Tuesday nights monster match-up with Kansas! Kentucky sits at 1-0 on the season & Richmond sits at 1-0 on the season as well.
