Het is zomerstop in de Formule 1 en Max Verstappen heeft al tien overwinningen achter zijn naam staan. 2023 F1 Belgian GP RACE analysis by Peter Windsor
Several were the intrigues before the start of the Belgian GP; as it turned out, though, it was just another Max Verstappen Masterclass. In this video, Peter Windsor highlights the heart of Max's race - the section of the Spa circuit in which he was able to establish huge margins even when he was driving conservatively - and looks also at what happened to his nearest opposition. Max's Red Bull team-mate, Sergio Perez, started ahead of the World Champion on the grid but could do nothing about him as the race unfolded. Ferrari finished third (with Charles Leclerc) and Mercedes fourth (with Lewis Hamilton) but it was a disappointing day for McLaren-Mercedes, with Oscar Piastri's race ending at the first corner and Lando Norris, who strangely started on medium-compound Pirellis, having to recover from a lowly P16 to finish P7. W poprzednim materiale powiedziałem, że nie ma kierowców F1 pochodzących z biednych rodzin. I jest to oczywiście prawda. Sam karting, który jest konieczny żeby później zostać kierowcą Formuły 1, jest bardzo drogim sportem, nawet na poziomie amatorskim. Żeby jakiś chłopaczek doszedł do najwyższego poziomu motosportu którym jest Formuła 1, to jego rodzice musza mieć kasę, żeby chociaż zacząć te gokarty. I najświeższym przykładem kierowcy, którego rodzinę moglibyśmy nazwać w pewien sposób powiedzmy biedną, jest Esteban Ocon. Jego rodzice, są zwykłymi ludźmi z klasy robotniczej. I żeby móc finansować karierę młodego Estebana, musieli oni sprzedać dosłownie wszystko co mieli, włącznie z ich domem. Ale nie byli oni biedni. Gdyby nie bardzo drogi karting ich syna, to normalnie by sobie żyli, jak każdy przeciętny francuz. Po prostu droga pasja syna wymagała ogromnej ilości pieniędzy. Innymi przykładami kierowców F1 pochodzących ze zwykłych rodzin, ale znowu, nie biednych są Lewis Hamilton, Kimi Räikkönen czy oczywiście Robert Kubica. #shorts #f1
