Halicharan Narzary gave a stellar performance to clinch a 1 - 4 victory against Chennaiyin FC who lacked depth in their gameplan. #CFCHFC Chennaiyin FC clearly lacked creativity in their mid field with the absence of Crivellaro and Thapa had to manage the midfield area along with Memo and Rahim Ali where they couldn't clearly fill the midfield void. Aridane Santana played a false 9 role and assisted for the opening goal for the Nizams where Joel Chianese capitalized from the miscommunication of CFC Goal Keeper and Defender and converted it into his first goal in India. Second goal for HFC came from a corner from Halicharan Narzary where the ball came back to him after 3-4 passes and he slotted a perfect goal from the leftside of Hyderabad's attacking area. A howler from Laxmikant Kattimani saw HFC concede a goal where Thapa was found at right place at the right time and tapped in a goal to the home side, and quickly came back in the game. Chennaiyin FC were looking threatening and were building up the game for an equalizer when Joao Victor sealed the victory with a third goal from outside the box. Halicharan Narzary placed cherry on the cake with a beautiful counter attacking goal from a nicely weighed pass from Fran Sandaza and this time finished from the right side of the pitch. Sealing a 1 - 4 victory to Hyderabad FC after straight 3 losses.

As a famous man once said, 'THE BEST TEAM LOST' stands apt to this match as Hyderabad FC pressed the life out of FC GOA resulting in purging the creative efforts from FC GOA players. #HFCFCG Players like Brandon Fernandes, JORGE ORTIZ MENDOZA etc were checked by the HFC players. However, second half was a different ball game altogether with the Nizams stepping up in the first 35 mins of the second half and taking a 1-0 lead over the Gaurs. However, HFC pressing went to hibernate mode after scoring a goal which allowed FC Goa to attack and open up with their creative prowess and a beautiful first touch by Ishan Pandita who awaited for his chance scored with a brilliant header from a perfect free kick from Edu Bedia. Luiss Sastre who came on after 65'+ was just getting into the game until FC Goa stole the ball from him and started a counter attack which lead to a match winning goal from Igor Angulo. A little defensive effort from Ode Onaindia could've have restricted the goal or a little more Goal Keeping effort from Lakshmikant Kattimani could've saved a point for the Hyderabad FC team who were playing brilliantly well until the equalizer happened.

Hyderabad FC missed its chances to make it 2-0 when Ashish Rai failed to finish from a wonderful through ball from Colaco, which came back to bite them to draw the match 1-1 with Jamshedpur FC. Too many referee decisions went wrong, 1 goal was disallowed which is debatable as it seemed a handball. Boring first half, entertaining and mad second half settled for a 1-1 scoreline in this fixture.
