Mohammad Shami was excellent too and ended with 3 for 41. But it was Alzarri Joseph who bowled a fiery spell in the middle overs and took the big wickets of David Warner and Rilee Rossouw to put Gujarat on top of things. Gujarat will be pleased with their bowling effort and will now look to start strong with the bat. Some fine hitting from Axar Patel at the end has got Delhi to 162 for 8 in their 20 overs. Having put into bat first Delhi got off to a scratchy start. Prithvi Shaw and Mitchell Marsh failed to impress once again. Delhi were two down inside the first five overs. David Warner and Sarfaraz Khan steadied the innings for a while but Gujarat came roaring back and reduced Delhi to 67 for 4. Some handy runs from debutant Abishek Porel and Sarfaraz and a quickfire 22-ball-36 from Axar Patel have taken Delhi over 160. Nicely timed and Wriddhiman Saha is up and running here! Good length again but he offers a bit of width. Saha goes on the back foot and caresses it through cover-point for a boundary. Up and over! Pitches this one up around off Wriddhiman Saha just lofts it back over the bowler's head and clears mid off. The ball rolls away into the fence. Swung away and Wriddhiman Saha has taken a liking to the Impact Player here. Just short of a length over leg stump Saha stands tall and whips it away over the mid-wicket fence for a maximum. 14 off the first over of the chase a good one for Gujarat. Put away first ball! Starts off with a short and wide one Shubman Gill stays on the back foot and just taps it away in front of point to get off the mark with a boundary. Wow what timing! Back of a length around off Shubman Gill stands tall and just punches it on the up. The ball races away through the cover region for a boundary. An attempted Yorker at 147.9 clicks on middle. Shubman Gill bunts the low full toss toward mid on and scampers through for a quick run. In the air but hit crisply! Fullish length outside off Sai Sudharsan plants the front foot forward and drives it firmly through cover-point for a boundary. TIMBER! Anrich Nortje strikes first ball and the Delhi crowd goes wild! Top delivery from Nortje as he begins with a good-length ball on off stump. This is bowled at 143.5 clicks and jags back in sharply off the deck. Wriddhiman Saha looks to hang back and defend but the ball zips through bat and pad to knock over the top of middle stump. Nortje is all pumped up and Delhi have an early breakthrough here. KNOCKS HIM OVER! Anrich Nortje gets rid of the dangerman and Delhi are right back in it. Nortje bowls this from a bit wider of the crease and on a hard length around off stump. This is served at 148.8 clicks and the ball just skids on after hitting the deck. Shubman Gill is caught on the back foot and before he tries to get a bat on it he gets cut in half. The ball destroys the stumps behind Gill and Nortje picks up his second wicket. Cheeky but brilliant from Sai Sudharsan! Anrich Nortje comes from around the wicket and bowls it full and at the stumps at over 144 clicks. Sudharsan simply shuffles across and scoops it back over the keeper's head and over the ropes for a maximum. Slower one from Anrich Nortje full and outside off. Hardik Pandya picks it up and creams the cover drive through the gap for a boundary. Lovely shot from Sai Sudharsan and the 50 is up for Gujarat. Khaleel Ahmed serves it full and around off stump Sudharsan whips it away in between mid on and mid-wicket for a boundary. Gujarat Titans lead the tally 2-0. Gujarat Titans (Team Preview): The defending champions will be led by Hardik Pandya once again. In their maiden IPL season they ended up winning the title.
