The Salt Lake City Stars, the official NBA G League affiliate of the Utah Jazz, fell to the Lakeland Magic 104-84 on Wednesday night. The Stars will finish the 2021 NBA G League season on Friday against Delaware at 5 p.m. on ESPN+. Josh Green led the charge for the Stars early with eight first-quarter points and three rebounds to put Salt Lake City up 27-21 after the first quarter. Lakeland would start the second quarter on an 11-2 run to take the lead and would go into the half up 58-49. Trevon Scott kept the Stars in it with 14 first-half points. The Stars made a run of their own in the third quarter to get back into the game, ripping off 12 unanswered points to tie the game at 61. The Magic pushed the lead back out double digits by the end of the third quarter before the Stars would again claw back into it with a 7-0 run to cut the deficit to four points halfway through the fourth quarter. The comeback would fall short as the Stars went cold and scored just four points in the final six minutes. Gil, Trevon Scott, and Mike Scott each scored 14 points to lead the Stars. Green added 10 points along with a team-high six assists and five rebounds. The Stars forced 25 turnovers leading to 23 points but were outrebounded 62-29 by the Magic. Lakeland was led by 20 points and 13 rebounds from D.J. Hogg. The Magic bench, led by Hogg, scored 68 of the Magic’s 104 points. Justin Jackson scored 17 in just 12 minutes off the bench, while Robert Franks led the starting unit with 14 points and 12 rebounds.
D.J. Hogg hit a new season-high in points and rebounds after dropping 20 points, grabbing 13 rebounds, and hitting 3 three pointers in Lakeland Magic's 104-84 win over the Salt Lake City Stars on March 3rd. Wales started Six Nations 2021 in ninth place in the rankings, just one place off their all-time worst position. But a 21-16 home win against Ireland on the opening weekend followed by a thrilling 25-24 victory away to Scotland in round two, has lifted them up to seventh. Louis Rees-Zammit was Wales’ two-try hero in a game where Scotland threw away a 17-8 half-time lead and lost Zander Fagerson to a second-half red card. Scotland captain Stuart Hogg also bagged a brace but the day belonged to Wales and their new wing sensation. Wales gained just over one-and-a-half points for winning the mini classic at Murrayfield, and with Scotland losing an identical amount in exchange, the two teams swap places in the rankings. #WorldRugbyRankings If you'd like to donate & show support to my channel, you can do so by: ► Become a member: https://bit.ly/2UM5Dp9 ► Patreon Account: http://bit.ly/2GqsDm3 Please Like, Share & Subscribe to Walking Tall with G-MAN ►Please Subscribe: http://bit.ly/2IHrfeW ►Business Enquiries: garethmason3@gmail.com ► Subscribe to my second channel: http://bit.ly/2Gi6Ign Connect with me on my Social Media Channels: ► Facebook: http://bit.ly/2Jz5lwi ► Twitter: http://bit.ly/2YRe0zu ► Instagram: http://bit.ly/32vbqBe ► Tik Tok: https://bit.ly/2RtO0IC ► Music by https://youtube.com/ikson or https://soundcloud.com/ikson Why I created my YouTube Channel: Through my YouTube Channel "Walking Tall with G-MAN" I strive to inspire and motivate people to never give up in life as well as using this platform to share my sporting passion. Having dwarfism did force me to stop playing sport after varsity; however, I continued to share my passion through my YouTube Channel.
