There were chances for both sides, with Wednesday strikers Jordan Rhodes and Lucas Joao both spurning opportunities to score while Yanic Wildschut and Marko Grujic went close for the visitors. Wednesday boss Jos Luhukay, taking charge of his first home league game, handed a start to Jordan Thorniley. This time in front of the cameras we put on a display that people recognise us for, quick passing, taking men on, and the goals, with Gary Hooper so close to a hat trick and pretty much everyone else had hit every bit of the goal, the last goal came as a bit of a surprise when Kieran Lee smashed it home to wrap the game up.
