Former England Sevens captain, Rob Vickerman joins Brian Moore to recap the final weekend of the 2021 Six Nations tournament, following a Super Saturday that lived up to its name. After England failed to back up their impressive performance at home to France, Brian and Rob agree that Eddie Jones' squad is in need of an overhaul but that replacing the coach is not the solution. The highlight of the weekend, and tournament, came in Paris on Saturday night where Wales' march to an unlikely Grand Slam was halted with the final play of the game. Former Ospreys head coach Sean Holley says the nation is heartbroken but ultimately proud of how the team has turned itself around from a dismal 2020. And we hear from former England captain Katy Daley-McLean about the new WXV tournament set to revolutionise the women's game. Subscribe to Brian Moore's Full Contact podcast for free: https://www.playpodca.st/fullcontact The 2021 Six Nations is all said and done for everyone bar France and Scotland following a Super Saturday that well and truly lived up to its name and expectations. Joining Brian to recap the final weekend and to look back on the tournament in general is the former England Sevens captain, Rob Vickerman. England failed to back up their impressive performance at home to France, they were on the receiving end of a thrashing by an Ireland side who produced arguably their best performance so far under head coach Andy Farrell. The result has piled more pressure on head coach Eddie Jones who has come in for criticism throughout the Six Nations. Both Brian and Rob agree the England squad is in need of an overhaul but think it would be a mistake to replace Jones right now. MOURNERS lined the streets of Buenos Aires as Diego Maradona's coffin was driven to the football legend's funeral yesterday. Grieving supporters sobbed and climbed on each other's shoulders as the hearse drove past them guarded by a police escort. Maradona was laid to rest next to his parents Dalma and Diego at the Jardin de Paz cemetery in the capital Thursday. A small group of family and friends carried his casket with the flag of Argentina draped over it into the cemetery. About a dozen people were gathered for the private religious service and burial. His body was meant to lie in state for three days at the presidential palace after Argentina's president Alberto Fernandez declared three days of mourning for Maradona. But Maradona's service was brought forward as a request of his family. Earlier on Thursday, heartbroken fans clashed with police as they scrambled to get a glimpse of the ex-Napoli star's casket. Grief and passion boiled over as crowds broke through barriers and brawled with riot police near the presidential palace. Pictures also show hordes of tearful fans surrounding a white hearse last night as they desperately hoped for a glimpse of their hero's final journey through the capital. Hi I’m Weston, I love talking about the Astros, and the Justin Verlander news has me heartbroken and sad, my favorite pitcher might be done as an Astros, I hope and pray it isn’t, but let’s cross that bridge when we get there in a little over a year, Christian Javier looked good, Paredes (Canoli man) looked great, Raley looked good, and Pressley looked good, and our offense did just enough to get by (story of the year) so yeah, Jose Urquidy gets the start tomorrow at 1:10 CNT, thank you so very much for watching, I hope you have a fantastic day, and go ‘stros!
