The decision split opinion amongst the Gers faithful, and a pointed banner was unveiled before the 3-0 win over Livi this afternoon. It read: "Two trophies in 11 years - uphold the standards that matter". 🏆🏆 After the game, Beale spoke to the BBC and was asked if he was surprised or disappointed by the 'dig'. He replied: "I'm not surprised or disappointed. They pay their money to support the club, and when I'm gone, they will still be here supporting their club. I understand their frustration sometimes - it was a unique situation [Tillman]. I thought the right thing was done, and we are through in the cup, and we won 3-0 today, so we have a lot to be thankful for. I get the emotions - I was a fan before I was a coach." 🤝 What do you think of Beale's response to the banner? Let us know in the comments below!
