El productor musical que actualmente se destaca principalmente con su participación en las canciones de L-gante, entre otros artistas, decidió compartir una serie de publicaciones a través de su cuenta oficial de Instagram, en donde fue muy crítico de la época en donde surgieron diversas bandas musicales del estilo de los Wachiturros, que marcaron una época en la cumbia pero que, según la apreciación de Kevin Rivas, era música mal hecha.
