#IUvsPZ #HBLPSL6 #HassanAli Islamabad United finally hit the roadblock in the HBL Pakistan Super League 6 on Monday as the runaway leaders during the league stage as they suffered a stunning 31-run defeat in their Qualifier to Multan Sultans who punched a direct ticket for their first-ever PSL final. The turnaround was quite unexpected given Islamabad’s red-hot form which saw them win five matches on trot to top the standings with an unprecedented eight victories. But the two-time winners of the title in 2016 and 2018 will get another opportunity to make Thursday’s decider provided they overcome either Peshawar Zalmi or holders Karachi Kings — who were playing in Eliminator 1 at the time of filing this report — in the Eliminator 2 on Tuesday. Faced with a tough 181-run target on a sluggish pitch as the game wore on, Islamabad were never able to recover the shock of losing in-form opener Colin Munro to the second ball of the innings as the New Zealander was cleaned up by a wily Sohail Tanvir. The former Pakistan left-armer, adjudged player-of-the-match, bowled intelligently to return excellent figures of 3-17 while varying his pace. Barring a valiant 70 (40 balls, nine fours and one six) from Usman Khawaja, Islamabad simply disintegrated in their chase and could hardly build momentum before being bowled out for 149 in 19 overs. Apart from scalping Munro, the 36-year-old Sohail sent back Islamabad captain Shadab Khan and Khawaja. Leg-spinner Imran Tahir and giant pace bowler Blessing Muzarabani were also amongst the wickets, while ex-Test seamer Imran Khan produced a magical moment in the field when he ran out Mohammad Akhlaq on his follow through by hitting the bull’s eye at the non-striker end when Akhlaq took one risk too many. Earlier in the evening Multan’s innings was a sort of mixed bag, and the fact they posted a competitive 180-5 was chiefly through the heroics of Khushdil Shah when all seemed lost. The left-hander, who clubbed 42 off only 22 deliveries with five sixes as his main scoring strokes, went on rampage in the penultimate over and took left-arm seamer Akif Javed to the cleaners by hoisting four consecutive sixes — two off the leading edge, the first of which landed over the third man fence — as the shell-shocked left-armer went for 29 runs, easily the most expensive over delivered by Islamabad. Mohammad Wasim, the other youngster, redeemed himself superbly by giving just six singles in the final over being clattered for 37 from his first three overs, mainly by Johnson Charles, who teed off twice in successive overs as the ball sailed in direction of the grass bank over midwicket.Taking into account Multan’s potent bowling resources, Mohammad Rizwan decided that batting first would offer them better chance of attacking the formidable Islamabad batting in the chase and he was eventually proven spot on. But the captain was left crestfallen when he was gone in the second over for a duck, adjudged gloving a catch down the leg side to wicket-keeper Akhlaq after umpire Ahsan Raza had turned down the appeal. Islamabad went for the DRS which nullified the original decision. Shan Masood (25 off 22 balls, four boundaries) and Sohaib Maqsood resurrected Multan after that early reversal by putting on 53 in 29 balls when Shadab Khan struck twice in the space of three deliveries of the eighth over by trapping left-handers Shan and Rilee Rossouw to give Islamabad ascendency. Sohaib interspersed a well-constructed 41-ball knock of 59 with powerful strikes that fetched the Pakistan discard three sixes and a touch of deft strokes, which caught the eye as the right-hander hit seven fours and helped Charles take charge during their 40-ball partnership of 62 before the West Indian was well taken inside the mid-wicket boundary by Iftikhar off Faheem Ashraf for 41 (21 balls, three sixes and three fours). While Khushdil and Sohail provided the much-needed flourish at the death by adding a priceless 43 runs from 20 balls, Islamabad definitely erred by opting for a predominantly seam attack after leaving out Australian leg-spinner Fawad Ahmed as Shadab extracted generous spin during a tidy spell of 2-25.

During the Brooklyn Nets - Milwaukee Bucks game 2 Eastern Conference Semifinals matchup, Kevin Durant (KD) put on a nasty sequence vs Giannis - a triple hesi hop double cross into an and-1 midrange jumper. The play highlights key skills, details, and biomechanics of KD’s game that any hooper can learn from. Lets take a closer look. The sequence starts with KD mini-hopping off his left leg - the same hand as the dribble - into a hesitation (hesi) and then left to right dribble crossover. He goes into another hop hesi here and this angle is much cleaner so lets break this one down. The hesi-hop setup does four key things: 1 - It generates a rhythm that optimizes the rest of KD’s movements. In movement science speak, it “primes the system” 2 - Creates deception because KD sets up the same way each time which limits the tells so the defender is guessing and/or reacting, as Giannis is here - a step behind. The hesi is the trunk KD”s movement tree and everything else branches off of it. 3 - It gives KD more time to read the defender’s reaction, process, and then proceed accordingly. Information is power. Here KD sees that Giannis is trying to catchup after the first cross so double crosses back over - dropping his hips to lower his center of gravity which results in better balance and change of direction and coming onto the inside of his left ankle to more completely deload that leg. 4 - Now we’re at the final sequence and fourth and final key - biomechanical advantages. KD hops off the same hand as his dribble because it allows him to use the other leg to push-off downhill, staying up on his forefoot with the downward force from the hop pre-tensioning the achilles and calf complex to generate a powerful forward thrust - aka the stretch-shorten cycle or SSC - that quickly shifts weight to his lead left leg. His left knee extensors - mainly the quads - and calf complex are now loaded to generate a powerful stretch shorten cycle and he’s up on his right forefoot (hard to see here) to again tension the achilles and calf complex. He quickly springs upwards having created enough space to get a clean look and it’s cash from there. That’s a bad man.
சென்னை சூப்பர் கிங்ஸ் அணியில் 3 பேருக்கு கொரோனா! | CSK | Covid19 | Corona | 3 members of CSK contingent test positive | CSK News | Tamil Cricket News | IPL 2021| IPL News Tamil #ipl #ipl2021 #kkrvscsk #ipl2021 #iplnewstamil #ipl2021tamil #iplschedule #iplnews #vivoipl Three members of CSK contingent test positive; none of them players As things stand though, CSK's next match, against the Rajasthan Royals in Delhi on May 5, is set to go ahead Three members of the Chennai Super Kings' IPL contingent - chief executive officer K Viswanathan, bowling coach L Balaji and a bus cleaner - have tested positive for Covid-19. It is understood that the rest of the group, which is currently in Delhi, has tested negative. The results emerged after the latest round of testing on Sunday. It is understood that Viswanathan, Balaji and the member of the maintenance staff took a fresh test on Monday morning to rule out the possibility of a false positive. If they test positive again, they would need to spend 10 days in a designated isolation facility outside the team bubble and return two negative tests before re-entering. Balaji, the former India fast bowler, was in the team's dugout on Saturday, when the Super Kings lost a last-ball thriller to the Mumbai Indians. As things stand though, their next match, against the Rajasthan Royals in Delhi on May 5, is set to go ahead. This follows the news that Monday's IPL game has been postponed after two Kolkata Knight Riders players tested positive. சென்னை சூப்பர் கிங்ஸ் அணியில் 3 பேருக்கு கொரோனா! | CSK | Covid19 | Corona Subscribe to my Channel: http://bit.ly/TamilCricketNews For business, enquiries send mail to tamilcricketnewsofficial@gmail.com Follow us on Social Media Platforms: Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/tamilcricketnewsofficial/ Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/tamilcricketnewsofficial/ Twitter - https://twitter.com/Tcntamil

Ravindra Jadeja 5 Sixes and 37 Runs in Last Over to Harshal Patel | RCB vs CSK IPL 2021 Dhoni Ravindra Jadeja smashes Harshal Patel for record-equalling 37 runs in an over Ravindra Jadeja smashed 37 runs off the last over of the Chennai Super Kings batting innings against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2021 match on Sunday. Harshal Patel, who had been one of the best death overs bowlers of the season so far, was the unfortunate bowler put to the sword as Jadeja went berserk in the 20th over. Here is the sequence of the 20th over of the CSK innings: 6 6 N6 6 2 6 4 #Jadeja #HarshalPatel #RCB CSK vs RCB, IPL 2021: 37 runs, 5 sixes in one over, Ravindra Jadeja thrashes purple cap holder Harshal Patel. RCB vs CSK IPL 2021 Highlights CSK posted 191/4 in their 20 overs vs RCB on the back of Jadeja’s final over assault. Harshal Patel, Purple Cap holder, had figures of 3/14 in 3 overs before the final over assault. He finished with unflattering figures of 3/51. The record for the most runs scored in an over in the IPL is now jointly held by Jadeja and Chris Gayle, who had also smashed 37 runs in an over in IPL 2011. Gayle, then playing for RCB, had sent Kochi Tuskers Kerala’s Prasanth Parameshwaran to the cleaners on that occasion.
