1-0 was enough to get through to the next round of the Challenge Cup. Not a classic performance, with the 10th minute clap for Lewis Vaughan my personal highlight. Forfar keeper played a blinder and some of Rovers finishing was well below our best, but a win's a win. COYR

0-0 at full time despite Rovers playing some decent passing and attacking footy. Rovers top the group so it's on to the last 16. Confident that this is a strong and talented team that Super John McGlynn is putting together and a decent squad playing entertaining football. So braw to be back at games to watch how this season develops. COYR

A poor performance from Derby County I’m afraid. However, I wouldn’t say Coventry performed to their fullest today either. Overall, it was a classic example of two teams that are near to the relegation places in the league. Chances were few and far between but when they did come you were left thinking that they should have been taken by either side. The goal came 10 minutes in from a Nathan Bryne error that defined the game. Coventry after the goal continued to control the first half as we struggled to get a hold of the ball. However, the second half was better from us and we got a hold of the ball around the 60th minute and retained possession from then onwards. Even though we had a lot of the ball we couldn’t create anything that was a clear cut chance and on the counter attack, Coventry looked dangerous creating two chances that could have put our hopes of getting back into the game to bed. In the end the final whistle came and we are left looking at a performance that didn’t provide much excitement to us as fans. Recently, performances haven’t been their best and we are left looking over our shoulders once again to the relegation places. Hopefully we can get some points in the next game and we can move forward again. COYR.
