The Virginia Tech Hokies were too much for the Duke Blue Devils, winning 48-17. Hokies quarterback Braxton Burmeister threw for 216 yards and 3 touchdowns and rushed for 71 additional yards. Running back Raheem Blackshear rushed for 117 yards and a touchdown and caught 2 passes for 40 yards and a touchdown as well. Hokies running back Keshawn King rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown and caught a 47-yard touchdown pass too.

Quarterback Phil Jurkovec returned from injury and led the Boston College to a 17-3 victory over Virginia Tech in the Red Bandana Game for the Eagles. While Jurkovec threw for just 112 yards on 7 of 13 passing, he rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown and helped the team run for 234 yards and 2 TD’s. Notre Dame vs. Virginia Tech Full Game | 2021 ACC Football
Notre Dame won a close battle over the Virginia Tech Hokies, 32-29. Two different Hokies quarterbacks left the game with injuries, Braxton Burmeister and Connor Blumrick. Burmeister threw for 184 yards and rushed for 49 yards and a touchdown. Virginia Tech’s defense intercepted 2 Irish passes, including a Jermaine Waller pick-6 at the end of the 3rd Quarter that put Virginia Tech up 22-21 at the time. For the Irish, Kyren Williams rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown and caught 5 passes for 26 yards and a touchdown in the win.
