On Wednesday, depth was again the engine in a 103-86 win against upstart South Sudan that moved Team USA to 2-0 in Olympic play and punched its ticket into next week's quarterfinals. The Americans' bench was devastating, racking up 66 points (compared with just 14 from South Sudan's) and going on two key runs that essentially defined the game. Former NBA Most Valuable Player Joel Embiid went from starter to never getting off the bench Wednesday. Jayson Tatum, who was benched in the previous game, moved into the starting lineup. #SportsNews #SportsAnalysis #LiveSports #LatestSportsNews #SportsReports #SportsInterviews #SportsCommentary #SportsNewsToday #RecentSportsNews #SportsToday #parisolympics #shorts #shortsviral #mma #soccershorts #soccer #mlbseason2024 #mlb #nflshorts #nflfootball #nfl #pgatour #pga #premierleague #nhlshorts #nhlhockey #ufc #nascar #formula1 #roadcycling #baseball #boxingnews #boxing #tennis #olympicgames2024 #olympicgames #lacrosseseason #lacrosse #motogp2024 #motogp #cricket #criketnews #badminton #athletics #handball #breakdance #modernpentathlon #triathlon #cycling #BMX #mountainbiking #swimming #synchronizedswimming #waterpolo #canoeing #slalom #rowing #sprint #surfing #candle #fencing #judo #fight #taekwondo #tabletennis #archery #horseriding #classicaldressage #equestrianjumping #sportclimbing #artisticgymnastics #rhythmicgymnastics #trampoline #weightlifting #rugby #skateboarding #volleyball #beachvolleyball Welcome to SuperStars Sports News! The Houston Astros acquired left-hander Yusei Kikuchi from the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday night, adding a much-needed starter to their injury-ravaged pitching staff as they duel with Seattle and try to hold off Texas in the American League West. Kikuchi, 33, has a 4.75 ERA that is inflated by bad ball-in-play luck this season but Houston is banking on his 130 strikeouts and 30 walks in 115⅔ innings to foretell better performances. The Blue Jays will receive right-hander Jake Bloss, who had ascended from High-A to the major leagues this season, in return for Kikuchi, the team announced. Astros outfielder Joey Loperfido and infield prospect Will Wagner are also headed back to Toronto. #SportsNews #SportsAnalysis #LiveSports #LatestSportsNews #SportsReports #SportsInterviews #SportsCommentary #SportsNewsToday #RecentSportsNews #SportsToday #parisolympics #shorts #shortsviral #mma #soccershorts #soccer #mlbseason2024 #mlb #nflshorts #nflfootball #nfl #pgatour #pga #premierleague #nhlshorts #nhlhockey #ufc #nascar #formula1 #roadcycling #baseball #boxingnews #boxing #tennis #olympicgames2024 #olympicgames #lacrosseseason #lacrosse #motogp2024 #motogp #cricket #criketnews #badminton #athletics #handball #breakdance #modernpentathlon #triathlon #cycling #BMX #mountainbiking #swimming #synchronizedswimming #waterpolo #canoeing #slalom #rowing #sprint #surfing #candle #fencing #judo #fight #taekwondo #tabletennis #archery #horseriding #classicaldressage #equestrianjumping #sportclimbing #artisticgymnastics #rhythmicgymnastics #trampoline #weightlifting #rugby #skateboarding #volleyball #beachvolleyball Welcome to SuperStars Sports News! With some potentially huge fights on the horizon, Anthony Joshua had to first overcome a challenge in the form of late-notice replacement Robert Helenius in London on Saturday night. Joshua succeeded, securing a seventh-round knockout that might pave the way for a January bout against Deontay Wilder. However, the performance leading up to that final punch may not have significantly increased the anticipation for the Wilder fight. Joshua, who was fighting for the second time since his rematch loss to Oleksandr Usyk for the WBA, WBO, and IBF heavyweight titles, was initially set to face former world title challenger Dillian Whyte. After Whyte failed a pre-fight drug test, Helenius, who had just fought in Finland and had less than a week to prepare, stepped in. This bout was Helenius' first since being defeated by Wilder in a single round in October 2022. From the start, it was clear that Joshua was not aiming to outshine Wilder's performance against Helenius. Instead, he operated primarily behind a jab, showing little aggression. When Joshua did land a solid right hand, he often chose to retreat rather than press the advantage. The fight largely became a contest of jabs, with Helenius managing to cause Joshua some trouble, resulting in a bloody nose and slight swelling around his left eye. Despite this, Joshua maintained control throughout, although the match remained slow-paced and lacking in excitement. #shorts #shortsyoutube #boxing #boxinglife #boxingtraining #boxingday #boxingnews #boxingworkout #boxinglovers #boxingfight #boxingfans #boxingmatch #ko #Knockout #knockoutpunch #KOhighlights #BoxingKO #FightVideo #FightScene #FightSport #FightFans #Fight #FightNight #CombatSports #combat #CombatFight #FightZone #FightMode #boxinglife #sportsnews #actionsports #highlights #sporthighlights #action #punch #punching #fight #fighting #knockoutpower #americansports #usa
