Normal süresi 80-80 eşitlikle biten mücadeleyi 94-90 kazanan Fenerbahçemiz, seriyi 3-1’le geçerek Final Four bileti aldı. Bu sonuçla son şampiyon Fenerbahçe Beko Erkek Basketbol Takımımız, üst üste üçüncü toplamda ise sekizinci kez Final-Four’da yer alacak. EuroLeague Final-Four organizasyonu 22-24 Mayıs tarihleri arasında Yunanistan'ın başkenti Atina’nın ev sahipliğinde gerçekleştirilecek. Fenerbahçe Beko’nun yarı finaldeki rakibi ise Olympiacos. Zalgirio Arena’da oynanan maçı Yönetim Kurulu Üyelerimizden Cem Ciritci ile Taner Sönmezer takip etti. Devon Hall, Talen-Horton Tucker, Tarık Biberovic, Nicolo Melli, Khem Birch beşiyle maça başlayan Fenerbahçe Beko, 7-0’lık seriyle girdiği çeyreği 20-25 önde tamamladı. Karşılıklı basketlere sahne olan ikinci çeyreğin ardından ekibimiz soyunma odasına 42-47 üstün girdi. Üçüncü çeyrek 62-61 ev sahibi takımının üstünlüğünde geçildi. Dördüncü periyot büyük çekişmeye sahne oldu ve maçın normal süresi 80-80 eşitlikle noktalandı. Uzatma bölümüne Talen-Horton Tucker ile etkili başlayan ekibimiz, maçı 90-94 kazandı ve Final Four biletini aldı. Tubelis Forced GAME 4 | Zalgiris - Fenerbahçe | EuroLeague Basketball PLAYOFFS HIGHLIGHTS Zalgiris clawed out a vital home win over Fenerbahce to keep the series alive and reduce the deficit to 1-2 after a huge comeback in which the Lithuanian side fought back from a 19-37 deficit in the second quarter amid a fervent atmosphere created by fans in the Zalgirio Arena. Fenerbahce looked in control for three quarters of a rugged and physical contest but Zalgiris roared back thanks to ironclad defense in the final 10 minutes, nosing ahead 74-72 for its first lead of the game. Big man Azoulas Tubelis served up a monster performance with a tied career high of 26 points and 6 boards as he also posted a crucial block in the home stretch to deny Tarik Biberovic. Nigel Williams-Goss scored 18 while Sylvain Francisco racked up 12 to go with 7 boards and 8 assists, while Moses Wright amassed 11 and 6 rebounds with Zalgiris overcoming a poor start to win the battle of the boards 36-31. Fenerbahce led 12-25 after the first quarter and enjoyed a whopping lead in the second but the EuroLeague champs were undone by the home team’s ironclad defense in the second half, with Wade Baldwin leading the charge on 16 points. Talen Horton-Tucker netted 15, Devon Hall chipped in with 14 and Biberovic scored 10 for the visitors.
