Meanwhile, New Zealand's remarkable comeback with the ball ensured they live to fight another day but their batting still left a lot to be desired. If it wasn't for Finn Allen's assured knock of 96, and a couple of handy cameos lower down the order, the visitors risked folding for a lot less than their sub-par 212. To add to their woes, injured captain Kane Wlliamson could have already played his last game of the tour. With series and Super League points on the line, New Zealand can ill afford another batting fiasco.
