Die Silly Season der Formel 1 läuft auf Hochtouren! Mick Schumachers Zukunft ist dabei weiter offen - mehr als noch vor einigen Wochen! Nachdem Alfa Romeo die Verträge mit Kimi Räikkönen und Antonio Giovinazzi um ein weiteres Jahr für die F1-Saison 2021 verlängert hat, bleibt für Mick nur noch eine Chance bei Haas. Dort steht Nikita Mazepin auf der Pole Position auf eines der Cockpits im Team von Günther Steiner, der erst kürzlich die Trennung von den beiden aktuellen Piloten Romain Grosjean und Kevin Magnussen bekanntgegeben hat. Ferrari-Teamchef Mattia Binotto bestätigte im Rahmen des Großen Preises der Emilia Romagna in Imola, dass es nur einer der Ferrari-Junioren, zu denen der Sohn von Michael Schumacher zählt, im kommenden Jahr in die Formel 1 schaffen wird. Für die anderen werde man anderweitige Möglichkeiten suchen. Haas-Teamchef Steiner wollte sich noch nicht zu seiner Fahrerbesetzung für 2021 äußern. Unterdessen bestätigte Williams seine Fahrerpaarung George Russell und Nicholas Latifi für 2021 - zum zweiten Mal! Damit erteilte das Team den Spekulationen und Gerüchten um eine Verpflichtung von Sergio Perez eine Absage. Derweil zeigte sich Pierre Gasly überrascht, dass ihn Red Bull schon jetzt bei AlphaTauri bestätigte und er kein Kandidat für das zweite Red-Bull-Racing-Cockpit and er Seite von Max Verstappen mehr ist. Mick Schumacher im doppelten Formel-1-Einsatz: Erst testet er mit Ferrari in Fiorano, dann gibt er mit Alfa Romeo sein Trainings-Debüt beim Großen Preis der Eifel auf dem Nürburgring! Mick Schumacher schwebt derzeit auf einer Erfolgswelle: auf seine Fahrt im F2004 seines Vaters Michael Schumacher folgten seine ersten beiden Siege in einem Hauptrennen der Formel 2 sowie der Ausbau der Gesamtführung in der Meisterschaft. Und als ob das nicht schon genug wäre, darf er demnächst erneut Formel-1-Luft schnuppern! Zunächst testet er als Mitglied der Ferrari Driver Academy auf der Haus- und Hofteststrecke der Scuderia in Fiorano mit einem Ferrari SF71H. Dem Einsatzfahrzeug von Sebastian Vettel und Kimi Räikkönen aus der F1-Saison 2018. Danach geht es für ihn weiter zum Großen Preis der Eifel auf dem Nürburgring, wo er erstmals im Rahmen eines Formel-1-Rennwochenendes in einem aktuellen Grand-Prix-Boliden an einem Freien Training teilnehmen darf. In der Eifel nimmt er im 1. Training im Alfa Romeo von Antonio Giovinazzi Platz. Grund genug für uns, die Frage zu stellen: gewinnt Mick in diesem Jahr die Formel 2 Meisterschaft und steigt er danach in die Königsklasse des Motorsports auf?
