Twitter: https://www.Twitter.com/SeanCostelloJr So one team that I’ve kept an eye on during their winning streak is the Phoenix Suns and now that they’ve won 13 straight games following their win last night against the San Antonio Spurs and even have some better stats than the first seeded Golden State Warriors, I’m gonna break down exactly why that is and how the Suns have dominated the NBA to reach this point. Last night the Phoenix Suns beat the San Antonio Spurs and they won by a score of 115-111 and that made it their 13th win in a row which of course is impressive. Now with how good the Golden State Warriors have looked and all the controversy that’s surrounded teams such as the Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Lakers, it feels like the success of the Phoenix Suns has gone unnoticed and today I wanna talk to you guys about why that shouldn’t be the case. Now this Phoenix Suns team has absolutely dominated the stat sheets thus far this season. They are either the best team or in the Top 5 of many different stat categories, including notably the best field goal percentage in the entire league. The Stat Sheet stuffing doesn’t just stop at offense for the Suns as they have the third best defensive rating in the entire NBA. In terms of individual player stats, the team has had nearly 7 players average double digit point totals for them as Cam Payne is shy by 0.2 points per game and they have two players averaging double doubles as Big Man DeAndre Ayton is averaging double digit points and rebounds and Chris Paul is averaging double digit points and assists this season. Now that’s all fine and well but the biggest thing that’s helped the Suns thus far this season has been the fact that they have the second easiest schedule in the entire NBA. However, the Golden State Warriors who are one game better than them in the Western Conference actually happen to be the team that has the easiest schedule in the entire league. I do believe the Warriors are the best team in basketball as of right now but the Suns have an easier remaining schedule for the rest of the season. The Suns will have to face some real tests though first as they’ll face the Nets and Warriors back to back following games in Cleveland and New York, and if they got 4-0 during that stretch, they’ll tie the longest win streak in Franchise History.
