The Kerala Blasters-Mumbai City FC match scheduled to be played in the ISL yesterday was postponed due to reports of Covid cases inside the Kerala Blasters’ team camp. The announcement by the league officials that the match had been postponed to another day indicated that the Blasters did not have enough players to play in the match. The announcement of the postponement came just three and a half hours before the kickoff time of yesterday’s match. In fact it was news that brought great relief to Blasters fans. But now there are indications that things are a bit complicated inside the Kerala Blasters camp, which has once again raised concerns among fans. More Covid cases in the Blasters camp The first reports were that Covid had captured two players, a hotel employee and non-technical staff at the Blasters camp. With Covid becoming more of a headache, the chances of postponing more matches in the league are high.
